What's it like to be a Sales Engineer?
Sales Engineers sell technical products and services on behalf of an organisation. They build a deep understanding of an organisation’s offerings in order to explain complex concepts and features and sell their benefits to potential customers. Sales Engineers share the same skills as non-technical sales representatives but specialise in selling technical or scientific products and services. They have strong business acumen and communication skills which they use to generate leads and close sales. They represent organisations in the manufacturing, health care, wholesale trade and retail trade industries.
