What’s it like working at Bunnings Warehouse?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees appreciate the friendly and supportive colleagues at Bunnings Warehouse, with many highlighting the positive team environment and the satisfaction of helping customers with their DIY needs. The competitive pay rates for casual staff and team member discounts are valued benefits, whilst flexible hours and good work/life balance are also noted positively. Additionally, employees recognise the opportunities for career growth and promotion, with training and upskilling encouraged across the organisation.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. Management support can vary across different stores, with some employees noting that communication and responsiveness to feedback could be improved. Understaffing during busy periods may lead to increased workload and pressure, whilst shift availability for casual employees can be limited at times. Some team members have mentioned that training could be more comprehensive and that equipment and resources may require updating or better maintenance. Additionally, communication between management and team members regarding expectations and feedback could be enhanced, and workplace dynamics and team morale can vary depending on the individual store environment.

    Toxic cult like business
The good thingsThe other employees. That’s it.
The challengesLeadership and the toxic work environment that they create. Bunnings is a cult through and through and if you’re not trying to climb the chain then you don’t matter. It’s the most clicky place I’ve ever worked in my life and be careful about having an opinion on anything LGBTQ+ in this building. There’s no catering to any sort of needs for rostering requirements. The treatment from management was appalling, they hire constantly and then don’t give out hours, talk poorly about people and get away with it. 100% would NEVER recommend anyone to work there.
BunningsHi, thanks for leaving your feedback regarding your experience at Bunnings. We are concerned and would like to follow up if you could provide further details by emailing [email protected].
