    great experience to be a part of this tea, and provide this service.
    The good thingsI enjoy being able to be the forefront of supporting our First Nations people by being able to provide safe and affordable accommodation as their home away from home.
    The challengesworking remotely, we have experienced the challenges of facing short-staffed during critical times throughout the year but It's rewarding to be providing this service to support people who are needing to be away from home for tertiary and employment purposes.

    The good thingsSupportive, non-toxic environment where people are genuinely happy and collaborative. One of the most rewarding parts of the job we do at AHL is knowing that our work directly contributes to supporting local Indigenous First Nation communities.
    The challengesOne of the key challenges is managing a highly diverse portfolio of facilities, including several in very remote locations, which requires careful coordination and adaptability.

    The absolute worst experience of my life, upper management do not like being challenged and show little to no support for staff.
    The good thingsNone to mention upper management is not interested in operations on the ground level and use and over work their employees
    The challengesAbsolutely no support from upper management. Upper management systematically use the public service system to avoid being investigated

    The challengesNo support and unrealistic expectations from upper management. Constantly expecting L1/L2 technicians to perform at L3/L4 engineer levels without providing any resources to perform these miracles.

    Very stressful, but often satisfying due to significant achievements singing commencing in April 2014.
    The good thingsChallenging work place with 52 Aboriginal Hostels nationally to manage. A strong sense of making a difference to Australia's most disadvantaged people.
    The challengesOrganisation is over 42 years old and is immature in terms of contemporary management standards, inefficient government company.
