    Lies and false promises.
The good thingsTea/ coffeee, milk and occasional doghnut
The challengesStaff, say one thing to your face and another behind your back. Typical large running machine/organisation where you're just a disposable number.

Done my best to bring positivity only to be met with negativity and unwelcoming attitude
The good thingsSome collagues were great and respectful
The challengesThe whole management culture from the Regional manager of SA to Operations and Project managers. Nothing good about their culture at all. They are not even Acciona rooted rather than a bought up existing Adelaide team multiple times from different companies as they keep failing.

Not a nice place to work if you value your sanity
The good thingsGood pay, annual bonus scheme and annual salary review.
The challengesInadequate desk availability and no booking system lead to frequent conflicts over workspaces. When concerns are escalated, leadership insists there are plenty of desks and dismisses the feedback, showing little willingness to listen to staff. The executive team fosters a highly toxic environment, creating a pervasive blame culture. More accurately, it’s a narcissistic culture that cascades through all levels of the organisation. Daily work life is chaotic and extremely stressful. Teams frequently clash, and the constant tension makes it feel as though you’re walking on eggshells every day. Additionally, teams operate in silos, showing little interest in collaborating or working together for the overall success of the business. There are no clear development pathways for women, unless they are specifically handpicked. A situation that applies to perhaps one in fifty. Alot of lip service in recent years after executives were publicly challenged during a roadshow.

Will never choose this place again
The good thingsJust salary and some good people in the team.
The challengesEverything could be improved. From management to culture to processes. Toxic culture, no care for employees and no growth opportunity. Old school construction mentality and culture from the executive down to mod managers.

Big turnover of white and blue collar workers across all projects. The pay is not worth your sanity.
The good thingsPay is higher than similar company offering the same job.
The challengesManagement don’t live up to promises. What they offer during the interview and what you really get is very different. HR only offer bandaid fixes and don’t follow up to help with ongoing issues.

Looks impressive from the outside, absolute basketcase of a work environment once on the inside
The good things- Interesting projects - They aspire to be innovative
The challenges- Basic practices can't be accomplished due to broken systems and impossible to have any confidence in project cost information - Incredibly inefficient due to lack of any consistent processes - Top heavy with senior management who are either absent/disinterested, overly demanding/unrealistic, or toxic/narcissistic

Noticed that how mediocrity and poor performance is overlooked Poor performance is never addressed
The good thingsUpon joining ACJV under Cobra/Maetel, I was introduced to PMs by the HR representative and issued a laptop. I was provided with basic instructions to access the Linked Site but encountered an "Access Denied" error. Despite raising this with one of the PMs and later escalating to IT on Level 16, the issue persisted for some time.
The challengesUnder Cobra/Maetel challenges are lack of Clarity & Induction Support, Role Expectation against Reality, Discoveries, Emotional Impact and Decision Making to leave.

My experience, make friends with management but be careful when doing this, they are not friends.
The good thingsGreat blue collar workers. Same as white collar so I thought….
The challengesOn 3/12/2025, I was informed by management that my employment was being terminated, effective immediately. This decision was unexpected as I had not received any formal feedback regarding performance deficiencies prior to the termination. Specifically: • I did not receive any verbal or written warnings concerning my work performance from my logistics supervisor or management. • I was not engaged in any prior performance improvement conversations or given a formal opportunity to address specific areas for development. The sole rationale provided for my dismissal was that I was "not a good fit for the team." I was highly committed to this role and proud to be an employee of the company. The lack of documented performance issues or reasonable cause for termination has created confusion, not only for me but also among former colleagues in the blue-collar workforce who have expressed surprise at this outcome. I remain unclear on the specific. Super disappointing experience.

worse place for experienced employees to work
The good thingsThere are some good people working here, and the pay is good.
The challengesPoorest and worst management I have ever seen, with a wide range of ineffective and harmful leadership behaviours, unrealistic workloads, disrespectful management, poor employee support, unfair treatment, and a toxic culture in general.

The good thingsSome nice people trying to do the right thing and get the job done. Pay was great.
The challengesCulture. Lack of real care re well-being. All talk, no action. Lack of transparency, honesty, integrity, following-through on promises. Lack of experience, logic, of those making decisions. Gaslighting. Favouritism.

Please do not make the same mistake I did and find another company, this is the bottom and funny how they call themselve TIER 1.
The good thingsIncredible team. Variety of scopes to learn from.
The challengesYour salary is the max and no amount of overtime, night works or any additional works that they put on you will get you another cent. Their enviroment and working condition will ruin your health and It contribute nothing for your career or future with them, not worth it. The moment there is less money flowing in, you and all your mates are out the door. Dont buy the promises through out your time there, I have not seen one came true and I wasnt smart enough to get out sooner.

Would not recommend anyone to work at Acciona, unless being burnout and not valued is what you are seeking.
The good thingsSome genuinely kind people.
The challengesAgressive company culture, micromanagement and inadequate systems to support you to complete your work effectively. Work life balance non existent and there is zero support from management. Career advancement will only occur if you are a “yes” person who doesn’t ask questions, or if you were hired based on who you know, now what you know. You are just a number, and there is very little care about people’ s wellbeing.

Medium salary, no career development, Poor senior managementIt is a big company hence they focus more on project and delivery than people. You will not find any training or career development plan. Good managers walk away and mangers with no people management skills will replace and make the environment toxic. There are many workplace concerns which are not handled properly.

The good thingsNot much really. Enjoyed the company of some of the other guys, but nothing remarkable within the work environment to talk about.
The challengesNo opportunities for growth, toxic environment, when facing a problem, you only get support from your peers but not your managers, managers will only blame. At the end of my 1 year contract, I was told that I'm getting no promotion, or contract renewal, but still wanted me to stay on monthly basis!
