    Interesting but fun retail scene
The good thingsTeam KPI was often highly achievable and made less pressure on sale and promoted more engagement with the customer. Fun work environment with management who were helpful and caring when needed.
The challengesCasual rostering leaves little room for security, often very late notice for shifts and no communication with possible changes.

Loved every minute of it while I was there.
The good thingsToo many to list. If you like sports then this is the place to work. Also, working in sneakers, jeans and a hoodie, feels like you never left home.
The challengesWorking on another countries time line where they don't understand the local market.

An excellent company with some fantastic talent but some rigidity.
The good thingsA structured and organised business with multiple different areas to enjoy. Connection with sport and fashion is exciting and current. Generally offer great development opportunities (cross department and international)
The challengesCan be political and recent restructuring has lead to some instability. Direction from Global office can sometimes be redundant for certain markets.

    Disappointing from a global brand.
The good thingsgreat uniform options - company provide free uniform
The challengesProgressing within the company. Hard workers are ignored while and employees with head office connections get promoted. Staff are poorly trained and staff safety is not a concern to the company.

Good perks, low pay and hard work with little benefits
The good thingsWork with amazing people and constantly learning new things
The challengesAs a global business within Australia, it feels as though it lacks. This refers to upper management, communication between higher and lower operations, inconsistency across brands and stock shipment and more. It’s very jumbled and seems unorganised. There are other issues within store such as hours and rostering. We would receive our rosters 1 week prior sometimes less than 2 days and this would change overnight causing tension between the team, leading to demotivation. Everything felt “last minute” compared to other businesses. Ps. I was part of a management position and doing another VM role in this business for 3 years and always showed loyalty and worked hard. The store I worked at was without a management team (Manager and Assistant) for multiple periods at a time. My overall experience at adidas has been a negative one

Bloody best experience ever...I love adidas and always will!
The good thingsThe opportunity to work for such a successful global company was amazing, especially when you believe in the product. The friendships gained from staff all over the world and the opportunity to have the chance to work anywhere in the world!
The challengesManaging a store without casual employees. Adidas only employ part time staff and everyone wants hours... working all public holidays, over Christmas and weekends. That's retail for you unfortunately!

Exciting place to work, great company to work for.
The good thingsWorking at the Adidas Corporate store meant a higher level of customer service as the customers could be anyone from an athlete to the general public. It was exciting to meet sport stars from AFL and Soccer clubs.
The challengesHaving athletes as customers required having knowledge in all runners and boots so it was a challenge to know all the little differences between them. But there was plenty of training.
