The client and the welfare of the technicians is second only to the doing the bare minimum that is required in the contract as well as protecting the managements KPI bonus.
The challengesThe company promotes itself as supportive and a “world leader,” and it has strong potential in its field. However, many employees feel that leadership can appear more focused on protecting their own positions than on developing and supporting their teams resulting in a toxic culture at this particular branch. Communication is often non insistent, with staff learning about important decisions only after they have already been finalized, which can create uncertainty and frustration. Decisions sometimes seem rushed or uncoordinated, resulting in confusion rather than a clear and consistent direction.
Career progression within the company is another area of concern. Employees who hope to advance internally, especially those working as technicians, may find that opportunities for growth are limited. Leadership and roles are frequently filled through external hiring, with individuals who have limited product knowledge or little formal management experience.
