One of the worst companies I've ever experienced working for. They treat workers as numbers and only care about output.

    Maintenance then Stores

One of the best jobs I've ever had.
The good thingsThey taught me heaps. I did a month and a half of work experience with Maintenance, the fitters there taught me HEAPS of hands on skills, and were absolute awesome blokes, and helped me identify maintenance as something I'd like to move into going forward, and have since gone back to school to do an electrician pre-apprenticeship course. I also did a stint in stores covering for someone for a couple months after my time in maintenance wrapped up, where I really enjoyed learning the requirements of looking after a production area and be trusted to keep an eye on it and keep on top of things, and make sure the production team was never left wanting, delivering things in my little buggy. In my experience this company's a great balance between teaching you skills, and empowering you to take responsibility of your job. My supervisors and coworkers in both positions were really friendly and supportive too.
The challengesCan't really think of anything negative to say about this company. I really enjoyed my time there. The only thing I was sad about was when my fixed term contract wrapped up.

The challengesfor the management, an employee is just a number, I was a member of a committee having a meeting with the management once a month where we would talk about good, bad and ugly situation..none of my ideas to improve the workplace was accepted...
