    Great working culture at the delivery team level - Architecture (Design), Delivery and Test teams are the best I've ever worked with.
    The good thingsGreat working culture with different teams working together to achieve the same goals. Delivery team synergy is healthy with minimal politics.
    The challengesSalary is not great for permanent staff. Next to impossible to get a promotion or even a yearly pay rise to cover CPI. Top management level can be highly political and hindrance to achieving common goals as they have a different agenda altogether.

    Consider Alcatel to be your last resort for employment.
    The good thingsYou can claim \"having working experience at Alcatel\" as this may be valid for someone who doesn't know how Alcatel Australia operates.
    The challengesUnable to be successful against Indian monopoly. If you are of Indian background, you can get away doing anything. Others may experience troubles, no matter how good you could be. Generally, Alcatel promise the customer 'whole world' but unable to deliver anything useful. There is no strategy at any level of management. The whole operation is 'ad-hoc'. So God bless Alcatel customers.
