Get the money you need and leave. Good people. You're not family though.
The good thingsGreat team across most of the board. A lot people really want to strive for excellence in the job/role and it makes you drive harder for excellence. Casual Friday's make the whole place feel a lot more relaxed. Flexible hours to help work your life into work instead having to work life around work. A lot of internal learning opportunities and great networking thanks to a strong public standing and business relationships. No real pressure to ensure the work is done so no staying back late unless it's absolutely needed which is extremely rare.
The challengesExecutive team that doesn't listen. Nepotism and family relations being more paramount than policy/procedure. This will create biases within the company and will create strong environments where there is clearly one rule for one person and another rule for everyone else. Management is a bit of a golden circle with close relations. Poor behaviours aren't monitored in the workplace because of how closely related some staff members are which then impacts your duties and day-to-day flow. Management will ask how they can help but won't do any action unless you document it after continual reports.

Stressful and frustrating. As mentioned communication is a word that does not exist in the company so expect to find out things through gossip around the office.
The good thingsFree parking and coffee.
The challengesLack of communication, dictating, and zero respect for the employees, you can build a "career" as far as you are willing to take low pay, no boundaries, and increase your level of stress and anxiety on a daily basis.

The good thingsThe continuous support from the managers is fantastic they are always there to give help when needed. Great work culture and a diverse group of people always a positive atmosphere.

The good thingsI started working for Alcolizer as a receiptionist when i arrived in WA 2009 and have worked my way up through serveral departments and have enjoyed each experience working with all the teams.
The challengesWe have a wide range of staff, ability, culture and diversity - this sometimes is difficult to manage but i feel that our communication techniques are improving all the time which is making things easier

The good thingsExcellent communication and relationships with managers who gave you scope to build and really own your work. Wonderful environment (kudos to the owner and the GM) and great pool of talented professionals. It was a privilege to work there.
The challengesNot much at all! Like other jobs - if you're not up to the job (ie not solutions orientated) and don't believe in the products then you wont get much out of it.
