The company needs to uplift its culture to retain talent and catch up with its peers.
The good thingsGreat colleagues to work with, awesome offices around the country.
The challengesThe higher you get, the more you have to watch your back. The Great Culture Company once had, but has been gradually deteriorating.

Do not be deceived with the bells & whistles.
The good thingsOffice is centrally located with nice cafes and lunch bar. Close to major transport hubs (bus and train). Office is clean and quiet.
The challengesWFH was in contract but was not endorsed by department manager/s. There was a crazy intense pressure to Over deliver, literally squeezed your blood sweat and tears. Never got compensated for additional hours (it is not unusual to do 14-16 hour days). I was always very sceptic of their half and yearly performance review; there was a section about personal career development goals and there seems to be an expectation to align your career goals to the company's values. It almost is screaming that management is not interested in how you want to develop your skills. Training/guidance was also poorly implemented - 80% of the time you are left to your own devices to learn your own tasks. For an organization that is of this scale it lacks leadership and mentoring. There is a clear demarcation between workers, managers/leaders and senior managers.

A dynamic company with a big future and one i'm excited to be a part of going forward.
The good thingsThe company actively supports its staff in developing themselves, providing funding and training where required. The company works to build teams and inclusion and encourages that one team thinking which is great. The site and office facilities are excellent and the company leads rather than follows.
The challengesThe knowledge systems in place for my discipline are lacking in certain areas compared to my previous work experience. But at the same time this provides for opportunities to improve what exists and take on board industry best practices.
