Do. Not. Join. You will regret it.
    The good thingsGreat helping clients.
The challengesLow pay. IT systems & support is a joke. HR & payroll is woeful. Marketing is hopeless. Head office support non existent. Management is only focused on sales. Staff are expendable. You end up just feeling used.

Toxic Management who are more focused on themselves then the company.
The good thingsWorking with some client advisors and audiologists.
The challengesManagement needs to learn how to manage without gaslighting. Area Supervisor on a power trip. Management toxic. You work hard to achieve budget and dont get respect for it.Definitely be in the union if you apply, because you will need them.

I wanted to help people with hearing loss but hated the revenue chasing & micromanagement.
    The good thingsCustomer interaction
The challengesPitting other stores, regions & your own team to beat each other to book in appointments (which are people with actual hearing loss). I was under the impression I was actually going to genuinely help people who have one, but it's unfortunately all about revenue for this company.

Toxic company culture, underpaid with a very heavy task load. Run far away from this company!!!
The good thingsThe staff at clinic level were great to work with.
The challengesThe management are toxic, they preach their company values but the values are only there for the sake of having them, they don't follow them. The task load is heavy and they are constantly adding more and the pay is well under industry standards. The clinincs are always understaffed leaving you in a high pressure environment. They over contact their client base and you as a Client Advisor you will have to deal with the unhappy clients. The company culture is terrible. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY.

Wouldn't recommend this job to anyone, very low pay - under $50k base for customer service roles.
The good thingsNothing good about this role, really boring and low pay
The challengesLow pay and difficult clients, entitled old people mainly

    Not fairly treated.
The good thingsResponding to application is fast.
The challengesThe person from the hiring department called and and ask about my situation and when I told her that I am about to give birth she started saying that it is a full time job and she needs to withdraw my application. I also mentioned that I can only work 48hrs due to.my restriction. I felt that due to my current situation of being pregnant and will be giving birth my application was withdrawn. Without going through the inital process.

Co-workers were the best part of the job
The good thingsThe co-workers who I worked with directly in the clinic were fantastic people. This was the only positive experience of the job.
The challenges- Constantly being micro-managed day in, day out, 8 hours a day. - Actually trying to reach management was near impossible, forget it if you needed an urgent response. - Hearing the words sales, budgets, revenue, data-mining was mind numbing and stressful having to constantly fill these expectations on a minimal pay rate. - Constantly having to travel to other clinics and then having to wait weeks for travel allowance was ridiculous.

The company has good plans to grow but the culture is toxic.

The challengesBad company culture - because of toxic culture and lot of politics alongwith skewed management it's difficult for many good employees to work.

I have been with the organisation for over 2 years now and have enjoyed the role and what comes with it. Although fast-paced, transformative nature of the company allows you to have a steep learning curve which I find value in. Looking forward to all the new projects and initiatives to be rolled out.
The good thingsCollaborative team culture New initiatives and projects. Flexibility and ability to balance work and personal life Speed of change and transformation within the business Different styles of stakeholders
The challengesSpeed of transformation and changes - which I see as a good challenge to have as it allows me to learn on the job.

The good thingsThe company started of great but it quickly plunged into low pay, and client advisors that have been there 5+ years get the same pay as a new person AND you're expected to train them!

Worked with great people but the management was terrible
The good thingsThe people you were work with are great for the most part and the job itself is easy when you are fully staffed.
The challengesThe pay is low for the amount of work you do and there has been more and more tasks added to the job. Existing staff get paid less than new hires and are expected to train them. There is constant staffing issues where clinic's are left short staffed so that other clinic's do not have to close or have Audiologist working on their own. Middle management puts no value at all in client advisors.

High expectations from management for less than average pay.
The good thingsThe clients and assisting them if they had a hearing loss, a positive outcome on the purchase of aids.
The challengesVery low pay and high expectations of work load, very high KPIs made bonuses hard to achieve, yet they advertise this in the postion description as something positive.

Ok short term but no real career progression.
The good thingsIn the head office - flexibility offered in some departments for good work life balance.
The challengesLow salary, not much room for promotion but secondments constantly offered for no extra pay. Employees from call centre taken advantage of to do extra tasks for no extra benefits

Never felt more unappreciated for my efforts
The good thingsWonderful clients, audiologists were usually good to work with. Hours were good
The challengesUnrealistic KPIs, workload expected doesn't match up with hours worked or salary! Too much to do in too little time! Company claimed to be client driven however they're definitely more money driven. Care more about making the sales than clients overall hearing health

Perfect job if you enjoy being under paid and under appreciated!
The good thingsThe job itself is easy to do, and can go about your day without being micro-managed
The challenges-no communication -don't value front line staff -don't close over Christmas anymore to give staff a break -criteria for getting bonuses is unrealistic -new employees are hired at a higher rate than current employees and current employees expected to train new staff even though not given "trainer" pay or training on how to train - work load continues to increase but pay does not reflect increased work load -management like to sweep issues under the rug - unrealistic expectations (eg. KPIs) -little support from Head office -entire company lacks motivation and very few people are happy in their job (unless in head office in higher management positions)

Pay is the below standard for what is expected.
The good thingsCustomers were lovely and so were any of the staff.
The challengesWorking with someone who would work her own set times as management weren’t aware. So would take off for personal errands during the day and then leave early sometimes up the 3 hrs before finishing time, though both paid for working the same hours. Made working together a challenge after confronting her about it.

    Would not recommend
The good thingsThe clients Some flexibility with the right manager
The challengesLack of management Lots of travel using own car Very little incentive to achieve targets Started off as a good job. But lack of management skills and expectations to travel most weeks, makes it difficult to maintain work life balance with family. Even with recent pay rises the work expectations are too high for the low wages
