Supportive & highly skilled management, great opportunity for learning & growth, challenging and sometimes overwhelming work. The good thingsThe staff in the foster care team are beautiful; you couldn't ask for more involved or caring management. Upper management are incredibly skilled and experienced, but also very humble and open to employee feedback.
Great opportunities for learning, development and training - both in house and external.
The whole foster care team care so much about the clients and have a great attitude towards work and towards one another. This is a great place to learn and grow as a social worker.
The challengesThe work is rich but very challenging and stressful. Case management is very demanding and workers often feel anxious and overwhelmed. Work-life balance is quite poor for many workers, particularly those who work full time.
