Unprofessional team setting up others for failure who are willing to learn and succeed. No empathy at all.
The good thingsNone to mention. This company is unprofessional.
The challengesThe continuous lack of communication, mentoring and support from management. All members of management do tasks differently leaving staff confused and misinformed. There is lack of direction given and no direct support provided. Very unprofessional team to work for. Lots of back and forth.

I find immense joy in my work; it's a delightful environment that offers both emotional fulfillment and invigorating challenges, fostering my growth in the most rewarding ways
The good thingsLots of opportunities to learn new skills, develop professionally and work across multiple areas of the business.
The challengesThe work can be located across multiple areas.

Stressful and rewarding, for all the right reasons. However, internal leadership is lacking, leading to major understaffing on every level which pushes the people on the ground to their limits.
The good thingsOther people in my position, support workers who understand the issue of the organisation, helping customers/clients when they're in need after hours.
The challengesManagement doesn't understand the breadth of the position and refuses to actually learn - even though after hours handles every region, business hours staff ignored after hours staff and CEO, major internal shake up for after hours that isn't presented to business hours.

The good thingsSOME CUSTOMERS WERE NICE AND STAFF IN FIELD
The challengesRUDE CUSTOMERS, BEING TREATED LIKE A CLEANING SERVICE, MANAGEMENT NOT CARING , BEING TOLD YOU HAVE TO CLEAN SO MANY HOUSES PER DAY. NOT MUCH TIME FOR TRAVELLING BETWEEN JOBS. UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS ON STAFF, BURN OUT

Thoroughly enjoyed my working experiences with the clients and found it extremely rewarding and such a delight to work in this industry. Unfortunately, I felt extremely uncomfortable, frustrated and unsupportive by Management.
The good thingsThe work is extremely rewarding to support vulnerable individuals.
The challengesThe Office culture became increasingly unpleasant, rude and unprofessional during the last 18 months which contributed to my resignation. Previously, the culture was pleasant, highly professional and extremely supportive environment whereby SW felt valued and supportive. Disappointingly, the culture changed due to new Middle management style and the office became particularly unsupportive, rude and extremely unprofessional.

Not an ideal place to work if you love aged care
The good thingsThere were a few good gems in that place. The support you gained from some case managers was fantastic and the front line workers all supported each other was great.
The challengesManagement was the biggest issue. Lack of communication from upper management in the office was appalling, it made it very difficult to perform your job at an effective level. The option for career advancement was almost non-existent. The hours were also unaccommodating to help with a work-life balance. Overall I feel like this organization missed a very big opportunity to be engaging with the local community instead it felt like it was worried about taking on board way too many clients and overworking and overburdening its staff.

Management needs to improve and stop giving empty promises as they are the best place to work in the world
The good thingsIt was a good starting year, feels like working with your own family. Everyone cares about you
The challengesManagement starts to change, new people coming in, change of work ethics and dynamics, finally they're not as supportive as they boasted they would, at the end of the day, this so call non-profit-company, you are just an employee who was expected to contribute good business for the company

A shame to be honest. I had hoped for so much more.
The good thingsAt times there is good moral between front line workers.
The challengesManagement! Poor decision makers and very unskilled. They have little regard for the general populace. No accountability from/for the CEO. An ivory tower organisation.
