A wonderful opportunity for the right leadership team to ‘turn things around’
The good things- community support for vulnerable individuals - people generally get on with things and support one another
The challenges - unprofitable for a few years, requiring support from global parent - ambitious initiatives vs resources, funds and reliance on eternal parties who own platform - inability to retain staff at a leadership level and the broader long-term negative attrition across the company

Enjoyable team to work with, but if you are not in underwriting there is little to no prospect of career progression.
The good thingsCommunity grants program and friendly team.
The challengesManagement decisions seem oblivious to operation requirements. Management also unwilling to reverse bad decision and will push on regardless even if it has a negative impact on staff morale.

A positive work environment with a claims acceptance culture.
The good thingsThere were plenty of opportunities to study with incentives; opportunities for cross-department training. Management were able to provide opportunities to manage work-life balance in stressful personal situations while providing support.
The challengesThe biggest challenge was managing a case load under multiple CAT situations.
