My time at Apple was a dynamic and challenging journey where I grew both professionally.
The good thingsOver the past two years at Apple, I've had the incredible opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry. I've been involved in product design and software development, which pushed me to grow both professionally and personally. The work environment has been dynamic, inspiring, and challenging, and I've genuinely enjoyed contributing to Apple’s mission of innovation and excellence.
The challengesIn my time at Apple, one of the main difficulties I faced was the constant pressure to innovate, which often meant long hours and tight deadlines. I also had to adapt quickly to new technologies and keep up with the fast-paced environment, which was definitely a challenge at times. Balancing work and personal life was another hurdle, as the demands of the role sometimes made it tough to find that balance. And of course, working in a large, cross-functional team meant navigating occasional communication

You can do better than this.
The good thingsThere are very little good things to say
The challengesThe recruitment process of Apple is absolutely appalling. From the moment you do their tedious multi-stage recruitment process, they are condescending and tell you “how to answer it properly” I felt like I was in a class and was seen as lesser JUST BY THE INTERVIEWER. I do not recommend anyone apply for this job unless there is a lack of self worth, as well, this should be a warning for Apple to make changes in the recruitment team because they are unskilled and unprofessional. This company does not see eye to see with you whatsoever.

Wouldn’t recommend anyone to this cult
The good thingsDiscounts, Friends, customers you’d meet
The challengesWas great when I first started but then it all changed - When they went from customer service to let’s make more money by upselling everything. It was all about making money, not caring for the customers. Upselling meant - contracts, cases, accessories etc. it felt a lot like JB hi-fi.

The good thingsThe people you meet within the company, can turn into life long friends, the support you receive from your peers is amazing.

The good thingsFor a retail job, the perks are pretty good. Some of the managers are great and really care for people

Love the company, hate the position and opportunities.
The good thingsThe benefits and amount of pay for the role.
The challengesBack to back calls with minimal down time and absolutely 0 career development. Most customer service roles have been outsourced offshore so there's no room to grow or move into management.

Working for a company that really cares, has strong values and has a knack of hiring the most caring, talented and passionate people.
The good thingsApple is an amazing company that truly cares as much about their staff as they do their customers. Working in several retail stores in multiple countries, I can proudly say the apple culture is wonderful and supportive wherever I’ve went. Feedback is also welcomed at every level so growth and change are constants. Along with that, there is always new things to learn and fun challenges to tackle. The benefits are great but what really keeps me around is the people. It’s also wonderful working for a brand that not only preachers about their values but embodies them and genuinely tries to make a difference. There is definitely a reason Apple has been Forbes most admired company for 13 years.
The challengesOf course every company will have its challenges, on average I think Apple is well ahead of the pack. I don’t think they’re doing anything wrong, I just want more opportunities. I wish there was more opportunity to move from one area of Apple to another (ie from retail to corporate). Apple is generously helping to subsidize my studies in something really relevant to their needs. However, I don’t see myself being able to obtain role in corporate as it’s so competitive and working in retail gives me no advantage over external candidates.
