Senior management need to review their middle management and ask themselves why so many people have left the company in the last year, especially within the product department. There are some inexperienced managers who are encouraging a toxic and negative work environment. Just don't work here, for the sake of your mental health.
The good things*There are genuinely lovely people working in different departments, unfortunately it is overshadowed by poor middle management *Lovely brand new office space *Hybrid work
The challenges*Toxic work culture - negativity *Favouritism within team *Poor middle management- lack of experience *Micro management *Lack of empathy if you have personal things going on. *Lack of training and terrible systems that haven’t been updated in years. *Teams seem to work in silos, so there is a lack of communication between different departments *Lack of teamwork and collaboration

Toxic environment where money is more important than people
    The good thingsMy direct colleagues
The challengesManagement is terrible, does not do the right thing by their staff. Understaffed, repeated reports given about terrible team leader but management preferred to align with their friendship instead of dealing with the issues. Pay is terrible, well below market and makes the cost of living very tough

    Everything I Hoped For
The good thingsIt is everything I hoped for in my first full time job. There is a positive culture with a good work/life balance and management who care about their people. I have been given exposure to various departments in the company and opportunities to work in various offices around the country. The head office is in a good location outside the city and the product we offer is of an exceptionally high standard.
The challengesThe relaxed nature of the company can sometimes cause it to be disorganised.

Poor team culture and structure - multiple brands competing internally.
The good thingsYour immediate team - supportive, fun and caring.
The challengesThe inter-department communication, respect and arrogance is oppressive, doesn't allow for the best of people.

Its a good starting point but dont expect to stay there for ever
The good thingsThe people are the best thing about this company
The challengesCareer growth is limited and managers fail to listen to subject matter experts. Its all about what the business wants rather than what the business and the customer needs. And the internal politics between business units makes change difficult

Low pay and no appreciation of hard work.
The good thingsColleagues are good; except for management who don’t care. The product itself is great too
The challengeswaking up and going there every morning. The lack of pay If you’re on level 4 don’t expect a moment of gratitude or appreciation from anyone else, for the hard work, the extra hours,

Great work experience but still has a lot of areas to improve on
The good thingsPeople at ATG is pleasant and easy to deal with in general, making the work experience great.
The challengesThe company still lacks standards and defined processes. Too much flexibility on how the business is operated, maybe because of the very nature of the business being a travel and touring company
