A good place to wait for your retirement.
The good thingsThey pay you on time. They pay you for weekend work. They pay you for on-call.
The challengesVery old technolgy. The management refuses to move one. 80% process, 20% actual work

It's an o.k. organisation. Not much career progression. New leadership in S and P are great.
The good thingsSome nice people. Alot to learn. Great office location. Good pay if you are lucky.
The challengesPolitical. Alot of pressure. Need more staff with knowledge to support those required to deliver the work

Could be great, but mostly just frustrating.
The good thingsPerks and employee benefits. Many great people, always willing to try new things.
The challengesA lot of the basics aren't in place. Old systems and hardware, poor business reporting. No cost centre reporting making managing department budgets or analyzing profitability of products almost impossible.

Wouldn’t work there again, and wouldn’t recommend it.
The good thingsSocial events are pretty good.
The challengesIncompetent management. Superficial focus on employees (more talk than action). No development or career opportunities. No documentation of work practices and knowledge is concentrated in a select few individuals, who are time poor.

The good thingsBrand Name and exposure to multiple vendor technologies
The challengesPoor Management and lack of properly defined operations framework, No work life balance, No ITSM systems implemented for change management

Good for a few, and frustrating for most
The good thingsThe people are what's great about ASX. Employees work hard doing innovative, outstanding work while creating a good, family-friendly culture. Employees really live their values, but leadership is still to come on board. CEO is determined to drive through visionary change and that makes for exciting, career-defining opportunities if you're resilient, political and prepared to work very hard.
The challengesSenior leadership seem uninterested in mixing with any but a few favorite employees, preferring their bubble of entitlement and self-interest over reality. As a result most appear cold, out of touch, disinterested and superior. Profits are channeled relentlessly to shareholders and key commercial projects, leaving employees to deal with a frustrating lack of resources, tools and outdated systems to do their jobs.
