Very MediocreThe good thingsGood people to work with including colleagues and customers, travelling around to customers sites, good technical support from the three or so people in the entire organisation willing to help.
The challengesWill promise the world, and proudly deliver nothing. A pack of seaguls fighting over a chip is more organised than this company. And sadly thats how the divisions act chasing revenue and bonuses. The entire business is reactive not proactive. Management from top to bottom are not interested in the issues which results in poor customer service, repeatedly going back to finish jobs because of incorrect parts, parts not arriving or getting lost, sometimes double the parts being ordered and paid for by the customer, poor planning, not understanding customer site requirements etc. No correct tooling provided, often working alone on big jobs, minimal training, work it out yourself, you will talk to yourself, a lot. On the road and away from home a lot. New machine sold, sales person promises installation by the technician. Technician gets a shoe string budget, a toothpick and some chewing gum for the install. Products offered to customers are not in the customer's best interest. Its all about maximising bonuses at the expense of the customer, and everyone else for that matter. Operates like a small backyard business. Constantly apologising to customers for everything and having to wear the fallout when jobs turn sour. Could be one of the best jobs and employers, sadly it is not.
