    The good thingsIt's a good place to make easy money as the pay is good. Nice helpful colleagues on the early shifts and the Coffee and Vending Machines have a nice selection.
    The challengesRumours and gossiping are rife within this facility. Favouritism and maltreatment is rewarded and those who report it are strong-armed out of there by using unethical behaviours to make you unhappy...especially if you are a hard worker. There are too many people there who milk the system and rely on the good workers to do everything. Management are aware of this but do nothing. Management is weak. I witnessed a SHIFT SUPERVISOR asking regular employees advice on how to approach a staff member about their innapropriate behaviour The facility is run by people interstate who have no idea what is happening and aren't entirely honest when it comes to hiring. I was hired as a permanent employee but was later told I was a contracted casual.

    Cautious employment - learn the game.
    The good thingsPay and rates. Mostly good coworkers. Nice facility. Diversity.
    The challengesToo many supervisors with sub-standard communication. Unapproachable too. Bad behaviour is rewarded. Too many who milk the system and rely on the good workers to pick up the slack. No freedom of speech.'Don't ask, Don't tell'. Varying rates of pay. Co-workers explain the job not supervisors.

    A good first workplace that has allowed me to build essential skills such as teamwork, time management and problem solving although is not a workplace that i personally deem is fit for long term employment due to the lack of opportunities for growth and inconsistencies within how new employees are treated in comparison to older employees.
    The good thingsWith the right colleagues, this is a workplace that is to be sought after and can be a generally enjoyable and hardworking job for those who desire a simple work / life balance.
    The challengesManagement is rather inconsistent, with certain supervisory individuals being better at managing than others. Furthermore, individuals who have maintained a job at Australia Post are usually treated differently due to the bonds some individuals have created between employees & management. This usually leads to more lenient punishments in comparison to what a newer employee would've received.

    Not all depots are the same, some may have a different experiences. My depot has mostly excellent Team Leaders, Management is great and the team I work with are not only team players that are willing to step up if you need a hand, but they are also alot of fun. Great place to work.
    The good thingsGreat environment. Excellent team members. Fun and enjoyable job.
    The challengesWork load can be a little difficult at times, but the team is always willing to help out.

    Ok if you dont want to be challenged.

    The challengesVery challenging dealing with bad weather. On the roads with some people that don't recognize fluro green/yellow.
