A good first workplace that has allowed me to build essential skills such as teamwork, time management and problem solving although is not a workplace that i personally deem is fit for long term employment due to the lack of opportunities for growth and inconsistencies within how new employees are treated in comparison to older employees.The good thingsWith the right colleagues, this is a workplace that is to be sought after and can be a generally enjoyable and hardworking job for those who desire a simple work / life balance.
The challengesManagement is rather inconsistent, with certain supervisory individuals being better at managing than others. Furthermore, individuals who have maintained a job at Australia Post are usually treated differently due to the bonds some individuals have created between employees & management. This usually leads to more lenient punishments in comparison to what a newer employee would've received.
