Great staff and management to work with!
The good thingsDuring my brief time working with my former coworkers, they were all very kind and helpful.
The challengesI can't comment on what needs to be improved while working there for such a short time. All I can share as feedback is that for the job posting, it has to be very specific because some of the roles were not clearly listed on the ad, and it was too vague of a listing. A clear role description would have been helpful and effective.

The money, hours and most of the staff are great, however, the management make it one of the worst places to work.
The good thingsThe casual/full time staff and car wash supervisors. The hours.
The challengesManagement. Very unprofessional and dishonest. They will only treat their \"friends\" with respect.

Too much expected in relation to pay scale
The good thingsAt our location, the 4 day week, the staff are great and for me it's nice and close to home
The challengesThe business model is a joke. Most of the managers are out of their depth. The pressure on sales is ridiculous considering the paltry pay. The incentive scheme can't be explained by anyone in coaching roles and don't even start to discuss fleet management.

There is no career-growth in this company.
    The good thingsFriendly work culture
The challengesit's difficult to work during peak hours where the managers are nowhere to be found and you don't get any support from them when you're stuck with an angry customer. The managers don't know what they are doing!

When I first started the job was good, but the company itself has gone through several restructures over the years and can’t seem to land on a single strategy to move forward.
The good thingsYou form bonds with other staff, but more out of shared experience for working in such a negative environment.
The challengesThe company is so money hungry they have no idea what customer service is, counter staff are expected to keep hard selling even after the customer has said no.

Depressing and Waste of 2 Years of My Life.
The good thingsMajority off Counter staff were good people. Very easy work sitting counter most of Day
The challengesVery long shifts 8, 9, 10+ if Planes are delayed at night. Over Book Cars extremely upset customers and Management don't care as nothing changed in 2 years. Annual leave constantly rejected. Roster is horrible if you want to have a life outside of work. Pay minimum wage yet want counter staff to go above and beyond there pay grade and take on some management work. Management are professionally not fit for alot of the roles in my opinion. Technology is EXTREMELY of.

    Bad Experience
The good thingsThere were not many good things - fellow staff are fantastic. Counter Staff, Runners and Wash Staff that is. Management no so.
The challengesLack of fleet. Greed by company over booked and trying to rip customers off with over priced Excess reduction. Customers having to wiat too long.

Join a union, they will screw you over.
The good thingsThe team you work with are normally the only thing that have made working here bareable, the ease of transfer is good to get you on your feet in new location
The challengesThe work load and stress is high poor work like balance hours are terrible esp if you are employed at an airport. They don’t treat staff well at all.

Upper Management is brutal - \"everyone is replaceable\".
The good thingsThe company definitely employs a diverse range of people and that is one really good aspect of working for Avis Budget Group. You have the chance to meet fantastic people and make life long friends.
The challengesThe company has change over the last few years that does not appreciate loyalty and knowledge. They are all about getting rid of employees that have been there a long time and replacing them.
