It's a hard no from me, I have no intentions of ever going back.
The good thingsleaving, and the people locally were awesome but that's where it stops unfortunately.
The challengesPaying vendors on time, getting anything done quickly, any form of logical local process or procedures, are all designed for the lowest common denominator meaning there are too many irrelevant steps and processes that must be followed.

When the good competent leaders were on seat, the talent pool was developed until low cost, incompetent & insecure managers took over.
The good thingsSalary was good before the downturn, however good leaders were released from the company due to the high cost and employees with minimum leading experience were promoted with no increment.
The challengesIncompetent senior managers, lack of information and data privacy within the HR team.

I am greatful to the Company as they gave me the opportunity to develop professionally to a high level and experience the world (worked overseas in several locations).
The good thingsGreat training and development. Company invested in its employees. Opportunities given to develop skills across product lines and job functions (+ geography). Senior Management were interested to receive feedback from employees to improve the Company's culture. Focus on safety, integrity and compliance - you wont be asked to do anything wrong (and there is a \"stop work\" culture if you feel unsure).
The challengesUnder-resourced for amount of projects undertaken. Too many \"new\" initiatives diluted focus. High turnover of employees (retention issues).

Management is poor and don't care about there workers. You are expected to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The good thingsFellow employees were great to work with. Enjoyed getting out and seeing new places.
The challengesHard being away from home and your family sometimes and being expected to drop everything at once to go to work.

Absolutely fantastic supportive company to work for.
The good thingsA company that rewards good performance and recognize achievements with encouragements to excel not only in the work scope but in personal life as well. Promotes good safety culture and interdependant relationship between colleagues and clients. Awesome balance of work and life.
The challengesAs with all global companies, budget constraints and suspension of perks can be annoying but necessary to ensure the survival of the company as a whole.
