    One of the better accounting firms to work at in Melbourne.
    The good thingsAbove market salaries, high profile client base and interesting work.
    The challengesAs with any firm, workload can be challenging at times.

    Well supportive internal finance team and the leadership team is second to none.
    The good thingsWorking within the internal finance team has been a blessing. Management is supportive and are extremely flexible. There is a great sense of team collaboration and amazing opportunity within. I couldn’t recommend working at BDO enough, they genuinely look after their people. I have never been a part of a company that truly values their people as much as BDO. Great perks, recognition and initiative.
    The challengesThe only challenge I would say is that we work on a national scale, so the team is spread out all over Australia.

    The reality of BDO was very surprising and disappointing considering they are such a well known company.
    The good thingsThe perks: kitchen facilities are excellent and monthly morning teas.
    The challengesVery clique. Culture is not pleasant. You either fit in or you don't and many staff members simply don't get given a chance from the beginning and wind up leaving early on. Work loads are extremely up and down.
