    Get in and then Get out asap!
    The good thingsNothing enjoyable able working for Bechtel. Techs were mostly good guys.
    The challengesThe culture encouraged from management was meant to be eliminated from the Australian FIFO construction industry. From Workforce Services to Superintendents to Supervisors, they all participated in a terrible mindset to the employees. No one on the shop floor dared raise any issue due to employment security. Only the brave spoke up. Do not work here unless you're desperate for money or O&G experience.

    I enjoyed it some what when I was was doing ITR’s but supervision was terrible… blaming the time !

    My experience with Bechtel will be a first and a last that's for sure. Not for the workers at all
    The good thingsnot a great lot to like to be honest
    The challengesthe commuting to and from site was a nightmare, unpaid, buses where full to the brim no extra buses when it was evidently needed. They had supervisors supervising people going to and from the toilet and timing people doing there buisness. Crib rooms also chokers. Turn over rate was and still is big.

    If you’re new to the industry you might be happy here but if you have been in the industry for a while and have experience there are plenty of other companies and jobs at the moment paying better and where management actually listens to their employees concerns. Like me if you start on this job you will be jumping ship after your first or second swing

    The challengesNo tools , management don’t care about the workers or any issues raised , they try and tell their workers that they have to fill their water bottles at certain times that is actually against the law to do, safety is pretty poor
