I enjoy helping and making people feel comfortable with me.
The good thingsI work with an amazing team of people who give 100% to raising funds 4 people living with disability I enjoy calling winners and telling them they have won a prize
The challengesNow with the economic client the way it is it’s very challenging to ask people help the course. Most cases people are willing to help if their finances allow.

Good career progress plus be part of something great!
The good thingsGreat support from manager and co-workers. Great sense of satisfaction as I feel just by working here I am contributing to the community and helping others. On site parking, cafe and barista.
The challengesAt times training can be more detailed and structured. However help is always available, so that helps a lot.

I wouldn't want any of my family members working there.
The good thingsSupported Employees make the job worthwhile.
The challengesIt is a very toxic place - if you report an issue often you're turned on by management. Lots of tension and powerplays between departments. Only way to stay there long term is to turn a blind eye to things that are wrong and keep silent about a lot of things.

I find Bedford to be an excellent workplace, one where your contribution can make a real difference to people.
The good thingsWorking for an organisation which provides employment, NDIS services, and a community to people with a disability.
The challengesThe disability sector is undergoing a period of change, due to the NDIS and the rollout of new programs and changes to funding.

They've spent well on marketing and stylization to showcase a business that's beneficial to the high-earning executives and not to those that the business was built to provide supports for.
The good thingsThe hard working people with a disability, these are some of the hardest working people out there.
The challengesManagement, unrealistic targets, the perception that it is a positive business when the environment and direction is toxic.

Bedford "Changes Lives" but not necessarily or always in a good way!
The good thingsThere are a lot of good people with the right intentions that work with Bedford
The challengesThe HR team is very poorly led by an individual that has no understanding of the meaning of empathy and in a people based business where you are caring for people with disability, this is a major challenge

The good thingsGreat place working with disabled people and feeling I like you're making a difference in their lives
The challengesEveryone was made redundant, after I had only been there 4 months. Company closed Sydney office as a result of poor management and planning. They hired all new staff only to close a few months later, very disappointing.
