The good thingsGoing home at end of shift.
The challengesLack of accountability for management and operators. Old equipment poorly maintained. Management not wanting to change.

Will take anyone, as anyone is all they can get. Maintenance? What maintenance?
The good thingsThe pay was in every week.
The challengesMaintenance is non-existent, just constant band aids on dinosaur gear. Management seems to be made up of people whom obviously know someone, somewhere as they all have no idea what so ever. Trying to bury incidents, toxic enviroment, HUGE turnover of staff. Stay away.

The good thingsThere is a small group of amazing, smart and talented employees who are the go to’s for everything. This small group will help you through anything. The actual production and maintenance employees are the backbone of the business and achieve so much with poor pay, poor equipment and poor management. They deserve recognition.
The challengesThe ELT are divorced from the reality of operations and the operating environment. SLT is full of people promoted beyond their means and don’t understand. The SLT is too busy to make people accountable. Profit is the only think that is cared about. Safety, people and Assets rate lowly. Morale in the HQ is at its lowest. New people join full of ideas of how to make the business better, but leave within 6 months. No learning curve from the business. Too many empty promises made.

    Challenging and reactive organisation.
The good thingsGood people and individuals within the business. Enjoyable experience working with individuals within the company.
The challengesExecutive and Senior Leadership team disconnected from day to day operations. Decisions made reactive in nature and more due to the commercial requirements of contracts rather than in line with the Company values. Lack of vision and leadership at the executive level.

Frustrating and experienced professionals will struggle to adapt.
The good thingsGood people and professional office environment.
The challengesBis seriously lack the basic processes which should be in place for a company managing a diverse and large number of assets. Big gaps in compliance, although when highlighted to management there is little concern. The interview and on-boarding process is very well conducted and creates a false sense of the company. You become aware of the true operation once you attend site. For office employees travel is payed out of pocket then reimbursed after, very cheap practice for a company with sites all over Australia.
