I don't recommend joining at all as you better look elsewhere
The good thingsIts good if you wanted to learn french culture some projecst are interesting and may have stepstone value
The challengesits a tier 1 infra, but unlike many its predominantly overseas owned and operated and if you are not part of that overseas specifically French inner circle be prepared to be sidelined indefinitely and treated as a second class citizen

Challenging, but rewarding and full of enjoyment!
The good thingsAll the opportunities you have to join exciting projects and learn a lot during the process. Also, the company tries to retain their talents, and most people are great workmates!
The challengesUnderstand all company processes and policies. Also, as we have people all around the world working in the office or on projects, it can be hard to say goodbye to good mates when they are going back home or assigned to different projects.

The good thingsI have been in the company for a short time but I already can see that the company has a great culture. The colleagues are nice, the job is fun and enjoyable.
The challengesYou will have challenge to understand the industry. But for me, that is the fun part to learn and grow myself. So would definitely recommend the company.

A great experience to evolve with many opportunities if you are motivated with a real career management.
The good thingsI was able to take advantage of many opportunities within the Bouygues Group, with responsibilities from the start of my career as a junior.
The challengesUnderstand how the organization works and be familiar with all its departments

I'm very happy to be working with Bouygues Construction Australia.
The good thingsThe company culture is definitely a plus. You have the possibility to evolve, take on more responsibilities even if you are in a junior position. There is a level of trust that I haven't seen in any other company for now.
The challengesThe workload is important but it is stimulating and rewarding.

very disappointing, so much promise, so many good people have gone.
The good thingswhen it is decided to take a certain direction, then plenty of money and resources get behind it, getting to that stage can be challenging and often see good people move on before the obvious decision is made.
The challengesappointing people to positions of control/authority without the relevant experience, allowing overseas engineers to make decisions they are not qualified to or legally allowed to.

    Wouldn’t recommend
The good thingsNot much to say here.
The challengesAlot of communication is in French. Most positions are out sourced to France, moving them over on a VISA rather than searching for Australian employees. Very hard to move up the ladder. Long hours are expected for no additional compensation.
