Stability and growth opportunities
The good thingsThe team work, the specialist nature of the business presenting different ways to challenge yourself and the support for career and personal development.
The challengesAs with all corporate businesses, some things can be a little challenging, but there have been big improvements over recent years with better collaboration, engagement and focus on employee wellbeing.

Shambles. Cant keep staff due to hyper micromanagement & vehicle tracking. Low morale at all levels.
The good thingsOnBoarding was fun while it lasted. Hearing the car is OK for weekend use.
The challengesCorrect job desription info. Upper management has to GO!
Finding out the car is tracked and monitored for more than OHS.

Don't waste your timePromises not kept, finger pointing, hard to get support, salary under market, micro-managing managers who does not understand the market, budgets/targets set without our input, numbers game, too many barriers, no prospect for growth. Only positive is the people you work with in the lower levels who understand your pain.

Managers lack empathy, won't listen to employees
The good thingsWorking in the regional branches is fun with good team that supports and look after. Helpful team mates.
The challengesBusiness doesn't listen to you when you have issues in the workplace. Some managers don't care at all and very bossy. They just want the works to be done no matter what situations you are going through. HR is just the same not helpful at all. Not enough technicians which adds extra pressure on the available techs.

Satisfaction in your career doesn’t mean that you stop, it means you progress.
The good thingsThere is a really strong sense of community within the team there hasn’t been a day I haven’t wanted to be at work. I am frequently challenged and can say that no two days are the same.
The challengesWhen you are apart of a brand such as Wesfarmers it does have drawbacks and lots of layers that may slow things up.

Bullivants is very supportive of its team members and offers a workplace that challenges and enables you, helps you to develop your skill set and grow through multiple career progression paths. It is part of a big corporate organisation but with a smaller tight knit business feel in many ways.
The good thingsThe team environment, the focus on safety and well being. The employee benefits and perks.
The challengesIt has been a challenging market over recent years with many organisational & process changes required to survive the challenging market, but things are certainly looking up.

Look Elsewhere If You Can
The good thingsSorry to say but there isn't much anymore. Used to be awesome but time & corporate interference have eroded any form of pleasure you might get from the job.
The challengesUpper management have lost their way. Most have no idea what happens at the coal face & how their decisions affect the working environment. Every branch is understaffed so no matter what role you apply for be aware that you will be under the pump from the get go. Your time & effort will mostly go unrewarded except for a pat on the back if you happen to be very lucky. Don't look for support as your supervisor/manager is likely 200+ kilometres away & can only say "there, there" at best.
