    You’d be a fool to work for BUPA
    The good thingsMy colleagues. Absolutely nothing else
    The challengesAn insurance company interested in one thing only - maximising their own profits. No interest in patients or staff. No support. No idea how to run a dental practice. Ineffective, uncaring, disorganised, incompetent, dishonest. The worst.

    This is the worst working experience ever. As a locum dentist, Bupa did not provide anything they promised in the location I worked in. I can't see pts due to the shortage of staff an instruments. Luckily I ended my contract early and I will never work for Bupa again.

    Financially driven with little or no respect for employees. If you are a yes person, have no empathy for people in general and are willing to be a puppet then this is the corporation for you!
    The good things40% on HI for FT and PT employees.
    The challengesMinimal support from day one. Very demanding workload for the salary.

    Mixed - I have had some highlights and some of the poorest treatment in my 20+ year career. There are some things that are going very wrong here. I would have expected more from such a brand.
    The good thingsLovely environment if you are in the big offices. Access to irrelevant training/support
    The challengesMany big ego's with behavior that goes unchecked/unchallenged People placed in roles and others moved on due to relationships not due to performance or engagement. Lack of accountability or execution by many of the teams - lack ownership of role (maybe understanding)

    The challengesThe dentists are not valued by the PDMs and sometimes even by PMs, and only focusing on KPIs and not the career growth of a dentist. not a good environment for a new graduate wanting some experience. very low clinical budgets, always running short of instruments, not getting the quality stuff, not properly managed

    Best place to work among corporate and non-corporate private and public clinics! Would go back to work there if an opportunity comes along.
    The good thingsGreat working environment. Not put under stringent production targets. You can get the instruments and materials you prefer. Well equipped. On-time pay. You feel part of a large organisation.

    Helpful Practice Managers and warm staff members. My experience so far has been nothing but pleasant.
    The good thingsMaven Dental are a great company to work for - very flexible and understanding. They offer wonderful Employee support and everyone I have met within the company has been pleasant and friendly. Maven offers a lot of promotions to patients which i also really admire.
    The challengesI work as a receptionist, so customer relations can sometimes be a little challenging.
