Don't bother, go to one of the metro bus companies or a charter line for much better pay and conditions and a more interesting job.
The good thingsFairly standard blocks of rostering so you know what to expect. Driving on the tarmac is interesting and challenging.
The challengesManagement difficult and unpleasant, unsupportive. Very punitive culture - during induction the process is constantly threatening discipline for everything. Excessive monitoring - you are reminded you are on camera constantly, GPS tracking of your bus speed etc. Strange rules - must drive 10km/h below speed limit for instance. \"Landside\" bussing is utterly monotonous. Boring, boring, boring. 10 minute shuttle each way every 15 minutes for eight hours for staff who look down their nose at you and won't hesitate to complain about the smallest thing. Dated, worn out vehicles & cheaply built junk. A lot of idle time spent cleaning and scrubbing buses. I mean a LOT. A lot of pointless busywork to fill in time. Pay is appalling.

Loved my job, but the management got in the way
The good thingsThe work was diverse, interesting and thought provoking
The challengesThe company lacked professional management. It was family based and this led to conflicts of interest, which impacted on the staff.

Everyday brings a new and exciting challenge
The good thingsExtremely supportive team management and great culture. Lots of different operations you can work in, all involving driving a bus so it's great to gain different experience and everyday is different! The airport is an awesome place to work
The challengesIn some operations you have to wait for the aircraft to arrive, so you may have 1-2 hours of downtime and then all the aircraft will arrive/ depart at once so its rushed, then you will get more downtime again. Can be boring in the downtime, but it's nice to have it after the rush.

Like most jobs, it had its up's & down's.
The good thingsEasy work, usually no one looking over your shoulder. Varied hours so work/life balance is good. Great environment at the airport to work in.
The challengesManagement is very inflexible & don't listen to what the majority of staff are saying, some vehicles had maintenance issues, low hourly rate & the enforcement of a non practical uniform.
