A Decade of Growth: Exceptional Culture and Meaningful Impact at Central Innovation
The good thingsHaving been with Central Innovation for over a decade, I can genuinely say it is an outstanding place to build a long-term career. The combination of its mission, its people, and its continuous drive for excellence makes it a truly special and rewarding workplace. -The culture is highly collaborative. People across all levels have been supportive and always willing to share their knowledge. -Learning and development are genuinely encouraged. Whether you’re in sales or a technical role, there are strong opportunities for growth, training, and certification. -The work feels meaningful. We’re not just selling software — we’re helping companies improve their design processes, optimise systems, and innovate. It’s rewarding to see the real impact we create for clients. -Leadership is approachable. I’ve found managers and senior leaders open to feedback, interested in ideas, and invested in people’s success. -Hard work is recognised. If you put in the effort, you’re supported and rewarded.
The challengesAs the teams and company continue to grow, formalizing a centralized knowledge base will help ensure smooth cross-team collaboration and strengthen consistent information sharing across the organization.

It's important to see what we've signed up for. What's expected is aligned with our signed agreement
The good thingsI've had a positive experience with Central Innovation, which led me to rejoin the team in January 2025. The company continues to improve in customer service, product expertise, and embracing SaaS and cloud technologies in a rapidly evolving market. On the AEC side, there's clear progress with a stronger internal structure shaped by customer feedback. The culture promotes open communication and collaboration, supported by weekly 1:1s and internal social initiatives. It’s also great to see genuine efforts to rebuild and grow user communities across both AEC and Manufacturing sectors—showing real commitment to long-term engagement and support.
The challengesWhile there’s still room to improve decision-making speed, especially around strategic changes, this is understandable given the size of the organization and the scope of its customer base.

I enjoy working for this company and had a great experience including a promotion during my time.
The good thingsCulture of teamwork and respect. I have witnessed the benefits over the last 2-3 years of a new company management structure. Colleagues and management work together. People are respectful of each other from top down. Very multicultural environment that celebrate different cultural events.
The challengesNone to mention as it is a nice workplace and office to work in. New management structure introduced 2 years ago has been great to work with. At times, parking can be a problem if you drive to work but this was mentioned in interview and options available for private parking.

A great place to learn, grow, and work with a genuinely supportive team.
The good thingsThe learning opportunities here are excellent — the steep learning curve really helps you grow your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. The work culture is very positive, with a supportive and collaborative team that’s always ready to help. I also appreciate the trust and freedom to take ownership of tasks and contribute meaningfully to projects.
The challengesSince the work involves continuous learning and staying updated with technology, the pace can be quite fast. It can be challenging at times, but it ultimately helps build strong expertise and confidence.

Generally a nice group of colleagues, many internationals. A highly beneficial learning experience.
The good thingsIts a role that suits someone to is keen to learn and become a specialist in AEC or work towards BIM Manager. Steady and stable hours and work requirements, rarely any overtime or late hours. Helpful immediate team.
The challengesA hybrid office model would of been better suited to the role, inflexibility around this WFH caused issues for some staff, parking etc. A bit out of touch around this.

Central Innovation is a supportive and dynamic workplace where you can grow professionally, work with great people, and gain valuable experience representing leading technologies.
The good thingsWorking at Central Innovation has been a truly rewarding experience. I’ve had the opportunity to work for a super respectful and supportive management and collaborate with talented colleagues in a team that feels more like family than just coworkers. The company encourages continuous learning and provides exposure to cutting-edge technologies like Archicad and Solibri, which has helped me grow both professionally and personally. It’s been inspiring to see the real impact of our work in helping architecture and design firms improve the way they operate. I’m grateful to have been part of a company that values contribution, innovation, and people.
The challengesWorking for a company that resells products can be challenging. Decisions and changes made by the vendor may be positive from a global perspective, but they are not always fully aligned with the needs or realities of the local market.

Central Innovation has given me the opportunity to grow professionally while working on diverse, meaningful projects in a supportive and collaborative team environment
The good thingsGreat Place to Grow and Make an Impact I’ve really enjoyed working at Central Innovation. The company provides a supportive environment with a strong focus on professional growth and customer success. One of the best things here is the variety of projects — no two days are the same, and you get to work closely with clients to solve real design and data management challenges that make a tangible difference to their business. The team culture is collaborative and open, with colleagues always willing to share knowledge and support each other. Leadership is approachable and values new ideas, which makes it easy to feel heard and appreciated. There’s also a strong emphasis on training and continuous learning, which has helped me sharpen my technical and professional skills. Overall, Central Innovation is a place where you can work with cutting-edge technology, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow your career in a positive, encouraging environment.
The challengesLike any fast-paced business, priorities can shift quickly, which means you need to be adaptable and comfortable working under pressure at times. The wide variety of projects is rewarding, but it also requires strong time management and the ability to juggle competing deadlines. Because the company works across multiple regions, collaboration sometimes means navigating different time zones and working styles.

While I valued working with supportive colleagues and strong products, my overall experience at CI was overshadowed by poor leadership, lack of HR support, and a culture that became increasingly toxic and unsustainable.
The good thingsThe company offers strong products in both the Manufacturing and AEC sectors, which are well-regarded in the industry and provide valuable experience to add to your resume.
The challengesThe culture here isn’t as supportive as it could be. Senior management tends to rely on micromanagement and pushing people too hard, and unfortunately HR doesn’t step in to balance that out — instead, they often reinforce it. At times, employees have even raised concerns about pushy managers, but HR remained silent, which gives the impression of favoritism and leaves others feeling unheard. Overall, it feels like the company values its processes more than its people, which is the opposite of what makes a workplace thrive today. On top of that, new employees are encouraged to leave overly positive public reviews during their probation, which doesn’t reflect the real day-to-day experience.

Respectful, friendly and collaborative team, eager to share existing knowledge as well as open to new ideas so it's a right place for dynamic individuals willing to learn and contribute to the continuous improvement the company is after.
The good thingsThe company culture is respectful and collaborative. I feel being a part of a big family from day 1. Everyone is very open to sharing their experience and knowledge, so I get the right person to talk to and the resources and tools I need to be successful in my role.
The challengesThe company is relatively small and operates in a very competitive market which naturally requires each team member be dynamic, multi-tasking and very productive. Personally I like it, but this is for sure not a place for individuals seeking a laid-back office to scroll through their social media=)

Good learning experience - but upper management do not listen to challenges as all that matters is meeting call and meeting KPI's even if you hit revenue targets for the month. Micromanagement to the extreme with daily meetings from Sales Managers to mak
The good thingsSome good people work there in sales and support, however not in management. Expenses paid, training offered with the illusion of professional development.
The challengesMicromanagement to the extreme. Unrealistic targets in QLD, SA, WA, and NZ that are the same as VIC and NSW. Upper management does not listen to innovative solutions, although this is literally written on the wall in each office. Not interested in customer service unless it is selling products, as no time is allowed for account managers to actually manage customers requests due to unreasonable call and meeting targets, which do not allow time for assisting with customer issues. Account Managers have the same call and meeting targets as Business Consultants which hunt for new business, and can turn-around calls and meetings much more quickly.
