    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at the City of Playford appreciate the great people they work with, describing colleagues and management as diverse, understanding, and approachable. They value the challenging roles that create opportunities for growth and progression, as well as the interesting nature of the work, with no two days being the same. The availability of flexible working arrangements, such as flexi-time, is also highlighted as a positive aspect.

However, there are some potential challenges, including concerns about job security due to a significant number of employees leaving the organisation in recent years. Communication within the organisation could be improved, and there is a perception that career progression can be challenging, with opportunities for advancement being limited. Employees in certain roles, such as those involving call-outs, may experience a heavy workload at times. Additionally, the organisation can be bureaucratic at times, which may slow down processes.

A roller coaster of constant issues yet surprisingly enjoyable with some amazing people and role models to learn from.
The good thingsGreat people, with a diverse and understanding management team that is open to new ideas from positive and forward thinkers. They have a very approachable HR department and try to get the most out of their employees.
The challengesCommunication can sometimes be a key let down and if you have an interest in developing your career and moving up the ranks it is near on impossible unless your face fits. They need to focus more on the abilities and desire of an employee for progression rather then surrounding themselves with 'yes men and women'
