    Waste Transfer environment.
    The good thingsThe Casual pay rate for the first 8hrs.
    The challengesBeing told that any O/T after 8hrs is reduced by $9.00 p/h on the initial hired pay rate & better team communication & open mindedness & patience in such an environment.

    The challengesNo Safety, Spineless Management who come and go with regularity, Everything swept under the carpet, Very Toxic Work Environment and everything is always broken!

    A place I wouldn't recommend, and a place I am glad I left.
    The good thingsThe flexibility to WFH is good.
    The challengesManagement; suffocating micromanagement, lack of communication, unapproachability, behaviour, and cliques. Don't bother suggesting new ideas, as they will either be shot down or 'looked in to' and you won't see any change. Lack of training cripples the team and can cause negative effects.

    It's okay, but probably wouldn't recommend to a friend (I did, and I regret that)
    The good thingsThe pay and the flexible working (working from home and being able to work late some days to leave early on Fridays).
    The challengesManagement aren't the best. Supervisors will have their favourites and if you're not one of them don't bother bringing it up higher up as nothing will change. If you're a younger person, don't expect to have anything go your way. Management and supervisors will always take the side of "older" people, especially those close to retirement. Will often say one thing and then do the exact opposite. HR will "listen" to your complaints but then won't actually do anything about it, even when there is proof of a supervisor deliberately excluding one of their workers and turning others in the office against them.
