The good thingsPatients and medical staff
The challengesNew management is toxic Company is not the same company it was gone down hill since 2024 If your sick be prepared to be pushed into coming into work, if you call sick wanting to go home, it’s a straight no while in the clinic coughing and vomiting. Their main priority is keeping rooms open, they claim that. Not the welfare of their employees. Employees are physically and mentally burnt out, most have left to another company or are planning to leave. Doctors and medical staff have noticed how the company is and themselves aren’t happy, company will loose contracts sooner than later. Favouritism is a big one in this company, you work your guts out to be treated like a child, sit on your behind all day and treated like royalty. also if you speak out your shunned. Can’t take annual leave as they don’t approve Yet management can take as many holidays whenever they please! Stay away from this company and apply for one that pays more, not one that pays the same as McDonald’s

Great Place to Work with a Focus on Patient Care and Clinical Excellence.
The good thingsFocus on Patient Care and Service to Referring doctors. The team genuinely puts patients first and goes above and beyond to provide excellent care. There’s also a big focus on communication and service to referring doctors, which makes the work feel really meaningful. The environment is supportive, professional, and positive.
The challengesFind more skilled and dedicated staff.

Overall, I enjoyed my time there, many people do it for so long which can work well around family, but if you are looking for a career and growth its not the place.
The good thingsYou can work as much or as little as you want, you don't hear much from management if you're out in a centre and do not do any mistake. You can be placed in a nice doctor's surgery with great staff and amazing patients.
The challengesThe Upper management does not care about people, they let the best manager we had go (or they would burn her out), if you want to make the difference to your team they won't value you. Hard to get leaves approved as they are always understaffed. Last but not least, they pay peanuts!

Staff are not valuedWhilst working here in my early 20s I did not enjoy my time. I loved the work but management were unprofessional and nasty. When meeting for a simple error they undermine people and belittle them making a point of you.

Soul destroying work where loyalty and skill is unrecognised and unrewarded.
The good thingsMedical centre staff, colleagues, patients
The challengesLack of support from, or rather non existent management, ludicrous pay, exhausting, unappreciated work, favouritism, unable to take leave as always short staffed.

The good thingsalways have a shift but it depends. They're very biased.

Bunbury WA 623011 to 12 years in the role, current employee
Great team of people to work with, challenging and rewarding role for the right candidate.
The good thingsI have had the pleasure of working with some amazing people in the 11 years of service at the Bunbury Lab - both within the Data Entry team, and the Laboratory, Patient Services and Courier Departments. The staff are friendly and always willing to help each other out. The job is challenging, and very busy at times, but can be very rewarding for the right person.
The challengesIt is a very busy and challenging role that involves not only Data Entry, but a lot of telephone enquiries from patients and with other medical practices, including Doctors. There is a lot of problem solving involved.

A exciting carer with many opportunities
The good thingsLove working my own centre and caring for all walks of life and having the trust by my employer
The challengesWhen a centre is busy you need another phlebotomist at times and being on your own can add stress to a already stressful job and very under paid for what you do in a day .

Absolutely toxic environment with very little care or encouragement for staff. The supervisors lack the skills or intelligence to manage a diverse group of collectors. They encourage staff to report each other.
The good thingsI loved my clients and the care i was able to give to them.
The challengesThe management were impossible to work with. The patients were just a number. Beware speaking out as you will be targeted from there on in.
