    Horrible experience.
The good thingsYou get to work autonomously
The challengesManagement lacks any knowledge, the company has no idea what they're doing and keeps everyone siloed leading to work being doubled up and made redundant.

Please Avoid! Probably the worst management I have worked under.
The good thingsNone other than few good team mates
The challenges- Low salary - Hopeless management for whom you are only a number and money making machine - No support from leads or higher managers. If you meet some, you might wonder how did they get into this position. No ethics, no respect. They need to be trained on how to become humans first - Hard to navigate through the system - Thrown into projects regardless of your skills. If you complain, they will make you quit or quite

Not the worst IT Services Company but certainly not the best.
The good thingsPpl are generally nice and helpful...to your face. Depending on the team, you may get good support.
The challengesForget promotions. Forget good pay increases. Forget diversity, it's pretty much a body shopping company disguised as a wannabe tier 1 consulting firm. Kiss the right rings and you may succeed and protect your job.

I possess 1.1 years of experience as a Java developer with expertise in Microservices, Spring Boot, and Core Java, consistently exceeding targets and driving process optimization in fast-paced environments.
The good thingsA positive company culture or values and attitudes that might help be more engaged, satisfied and productive. It provides generous maternity and paternity leave.
The challengesTeam members can have bad days, resulting in lower productivity or poor performance. They may also experience burnout or exhaustion after working on a high-pressure project or task. Helping your team re-engage with their work may require making changes in the workplace policies, culture, and processes

My time with Cognizant was good, but pay and benefits not good enough. If you get a good reporting manager, you will have good chances to succeed here
The good thingschance to work in different geographic locations, Diversity and equal opportunities to everyone.
The challengesnot much opportunity for job rotation, you are stuck in the same job for years. Unlike Cognizant US, very less clients in Australia.

Lot of challenges, underestimations, discouraging employees.. it is a very bad experience with Cognizant. Ofcourse, I learned how to work and different marketing tools.
The good thingsI don't think any good happened to me in Cognizant.. only thing is I got to know about different kind of people in the world and politics in the IT world.. Ofcourse, I learned about the Marketing technologies and different tools like Marketo, Adobe, WCA.
The challengesI worked for more than 2 years in Cognizant and had very bad experiences... I was not recognized by the management for my work even though I received appreciation emails from client... I was always discouraged.. I was not given good yearly ratings.. I was not encouraged to learn new technologies.. I was not encouraged to takeup development projects.. I was not given hike in 2 years... In fact I got an experience, let it be good or bad.

Completely unlike Cognizant US or UK. It's like a different organisation detached from the rest of the geographies

Its a job but certainly not a company that will help support your own personal career growth.
The good thingsVery flexible hours and a good work life balance. Cognizant is very relaxed around balancing work and personal life which is nice.
The challengesLack of local leadership and lack of local strategy. Very little employee engagement and no career development opportunities.

My time at the cognizant was extremely enjoyable. The atmosphere was similar to my college days and I got to learn a lot of new technologies.
The good thingsAs a company, definitely yes employees are well taken care off. The facilities are excellent. The work places are clean and hygienic. The benefits of the employees are also good. The upper management and their policies are very much favourable for the employees.
