Amazing really is what the Job description said it would be
The good thingsThis Job role provides flexibility in my day to day allowing me to really support the young people, there no KPI's no time limits and it really is all about those you are supporting, every day is different.

    Would not recommend working here
The good thingsDidn’t enjoy working here at all
The challengesLack of training, lack of support for staff, team leaders were not helpful at all in providing support. Does not care about staff mental health and only focuses on meeting KPI’s.

Being managed by unprofessional “team leaders”. If you love a toxic environment. This is the place for you.
The good thingsThe colleagues you worked with (mentors/recruitment partners/SQW Coordinator). Your clients. The programs for the community
The challengesManagement/team leaders are absolutely horrendous, unprofessional and incompetent. Do not support staff workload, mental health or overall wellbeing. Toxic work environment and continuous staff turnaround. Would have great programs. Only focus on KPI’s with no client support.

Best decision I've made changing careers to Community Solutions. (other then marrying my wife and having my children)
The good thingsThere a way to many good things. My first contact with community solutions, was with Andy Goold. I couldn't say a bad word about him. He went above and beyond for making it such an easy transition from a Trade background job to a Trainee. I travel between two locations. And I have had great support from both Office locations.
The challengesAt this point in time i haven't really found a challenge. The support and acceptance from everyone is outstanding.

Community Solutions and Endeavour Foundation(Host Employer) provide me a wonderful Traineeship experience. I enjoyed every moment working in my Team at the Support Center of Endeavour Foundation. I gained a lot of experience and learned a lot with the help of a very supportive working Team, my mentor field officers and recruitment consultant.
The good things- Working in a wonderful Team at the Support center of Endeavour Foundation(host employer), very Supportive Manager, Team Leader and members. Everybody in my Team is trying to step out to help in case someone need it. - Very supportive mentor field officers and recruitment consultant of Community Solutions to help me to tackle all the problems encountered during my traineeship. - Inclusive workplaces: People are very patient to me. I felt very accepted even English is not my Primary language. - flexible working hours and working from home is allowed to help me to take care of my kids to fulfill my responsibility as a father. - Salary Sacrificing helps to increase my take-home pay - Great potential to secure a full time permanent job after completing the traineeship program. - Personally speaking, it is very meaning for me to work in an industry that is helping people with disability
The challenges- Trainee wage is a little bit challenging for me as a father of two kids. - car parking of the host employer is limited with long waiting list.( I need to drop off kids to school and can only start working at 9:00a.m., difficult to find street car park).

My traineeship experience has been amazing. I believe that the qualification that I have been undertaking will help me expand my skillsets and develop my career. I'm truly grateful for this opportunity.
The good thingsI've felt welcome and been greatly support by my field officer and my team from day 1. The work environment is friendly and flexible. My colleagues are nice, friendly, and supportive. My questions have been answered and guidance has been provided.
The challengesBeing on a trainee wage is challenging, especially with high cost of living. However, the company provides salary packaging benefit which helps me get more take-home pay.

I enjoyed the teaching experience but would not recommend for anyone to work for this Queensland based company.
The good thingsMet some good people, participants and other trainers.
The challengesIncompetent Management. High Staff turnover. Good people constantly leaving due to the demands of the job being out of balance with remuneration. Staff Meetings that go on and on with no direction. Pay rates 30/ 40 per cent below other training providers. Head office is in Frankston.

The good thingsThe team spirit and the way we all work to support each other and provide clients with quality support to clients. I have the confidence if I am on leave my clients will be supported by the team.
The challengesHaving the time to deliver individualised service, working with clients who have given up on themselves . Inspiring people that there is a future and it is possible no matter what the barriers are.
