Disappointing experience - this should of been a fantastic job for a well regarded employer
The good thingsGood location. Top management seemed very nice and approachable. The staff at Cambridge St were lovely. Your work experience at COP is largely dictated by which department you work in and who your direct supervisor is. There is a definite separation between contractors and long term employees
The challengesEmployed for an intermediate position but working at a junior level. Lack of autonomy and a very unpleasant work environment due to my the department. Lack of systems, processes and procedures

Very good place to work if your manager is a leader and not a micro manager who is there to persue his own benefit. However the drop in the price of oil has meant lower bonuses.
The good thingsThe company values and the emphasis on safety for employess.
The challengesDealing with particular managers and individuals. Too much micro management with wins/ achievements not recognised by the individual who put in the work.

    Generally pleasant and fairly autonomous.
The good thingsWages are good and I am left to do my work a lot.
The challengesI feel the biggest challenge is the lack of understanding on the value of cost control. So much focus is put into what has been spent, and so little is paid to what is going to be spent.
