The challengesNot enough time to learn more.

It is a good firm for someone looking for a flexible working environment.
The good thingsWork culture is pretty good and there is enough flexibility to achieve a good work-life balance. Perks such as gym and Pilates membership is available.
The challengesGrowth and salary increment within the firm is hard.

The challengesDemanding and high workload, but that is part of the industry.

A firm focused on pigeonholing its staff.
The good thingsEveryone is very positive at the firm. There is a wide variety of opportunities to work on various jobs.
The challengesThe general atmosphere within the office is often stale as everyone feels the pressure to constantly perform and churn out documents. There is very little support for career growth within the company and you'll most likely end up pigeonholed. Most of the management treats you like a resource instead of an individual.

An architectural practice that knows what it is doing and looks after its staff as well as its clients.
The good thingsWell structured organization with a lot of opportunities for career progression and growth. A diverse and friendly workforce with a very high skill set. Clear and consistent management and direction. A great positive social culture that is authentic and welcoming.
The challengesThe success of the the practice results in a self perpetuating generation of significant work. This is a positive challenge to have.

A supportive environment that has greatly assisted me during my immigration period and integration into the Australian way of life. I will be forever grateful for that.
The good thingsGreat projects. Dynamic for a large firm. Like-minded people. A supportive environment where you get out what you put in. Flexible within reason.
The challengesIt can be overwhelming if you don't ask. Workload and pressure can be high, but that is, unfortunately, part of the industry. Overtime is not expected but is also not frowned upon. Exceptional overtime is however valued based on effective productivity.

Great and would recommend to any applicant.
The good thingsCompany culture is fantastic. They support overall wellbeing of staff with EAP and free group fitness classes. They are understanding of your situation, and can work with you to figure out arrangements that meet your family needs. Fun place to work, and a fun bunch of people to work with.
The challengesNot many. Multi-tasking and ability to handle pressure of deadlines is a must.

great culture and nice place to work.
The good thingsgreat socials & culture, love the team I work with, Awesome Boss.
The challengesEvery job has it's challenges, I think having a supportive company to look after you over the past two years that understands what we have all been through and allowed you to WFH in the difficult times has been important, a company that cares about how you feel enough to want to help. Culture is important.

Good stepping stone if you can deal with 60 hours weeks and bad management.
The good thingsCulture is okay and a lot of the people are great.
The challengesA lot of dead weight in the office and management is terrible. HR does a poor job at keeping people in check and management burns people to get the work done.

    The good thingsLarge prestige projects
The challengesDisorganised and poorly managed projects by people who lack sufficient experience and communication skills to deliver the project smoothly. Lack of teamwork, micromanagement big time.

The exposure to new projects and seeing the completed buildings and working with great people with good systems in place.
The good thingsI was working in an administrative position and there is nowhere to go but for budding young architects they can learn a lot and there are career opportunities for those willing to go after them. I found the exposure to new projects really interesting and really enjoyed seeing the completed buildings. Great people and good systems in place.
    The challengesNo challenges really.
