A cracker of a place to work...and I know it
The good thingsThe most supportive and friendly work environment you could wish in. Senior management is an 'open door' anytime...including CEO. This relaxed work place produces great results because it's hassle free with positive relationships with fellow workers.
The challengesNone really! Like any online sales business they can be challenging but at at this workplace and the open work environment there's always support and new directions/initiatives, to achieve greater results.

Relaxed and fun place to work.
The good thingsGreat fun environment, great team, flexible hours and Friday tastings!
The challengesSales can be difficult if you don't know how to sell the product, however a call about wine is usually welcomed, and our tastings and our buyer offer us a lot of experience in the product.

Flexible and fun place to work! Would absolutely reccommend this job if you love your wine! Management, customers and team are v friendly. Learning of sales & wine encouraged
The good thingsFlexible and team oriented working environment where we listen to music and are able to have a lot of fun in the office whilst we work. Management are great and learning is encouraged. Friday afternoon clock off at 5pm and it's wine tasting time! We try 30+ wines where out input is encouraged for stock to take on. Customers and staff are passionate about wine so interest in it is a must.
The challengesPhone sales is not a job for the soft or shy, however not a tough sales job either. Most customers have cellars so they enjoy talking to you most of the time. Biggest challenge is the mammoth extent of knowledge associated with wine but interest only needed to do this job well.

    Relaxed sales environment
The good thingsNo micro management like other call centres, friendly and nice staff, no office BS and what I love is the flexibility in hours
The challengesSelf managed and must be self motivated, if not it will reflect on your pay slip.

Hard, depressing, sometimes fun and free wine.
The good thingsThey were understanding if I needed time off for medical appointments or family commitments.
The challengesVery male dominated and egotistical; voicing my opinion or speaking up was disregarded or seen as complaining. Lots of empty promises and no chance of career progression.
