Enjoyable location and property but frustrating Head Office Management
The good thingsI enjoyed the majority of people that I worked with on site. The views of the valley from certain vantage points and the picturesque outlook over the golf course were very relaxing.
The challenges"Oaks" is not the right brand for the property, the "Oaks" brands is more focused on rooms in a building and not suited for a resort with multiple offerings. There are people that are focused just on spreadsheets and what people are inputting into the CRM, so that they can either beat their chest to say look how good they are or pass the blame onto someone else. These are the same people who demand more business is brought in but are the ones who get in the way of being able to do it. Too scared of others potentially showing them up and exposing their lack of actions. How they remain employed is a real head scratcher.
