    Great team and environment.
    The good thingsI work in Degani HQ and it is a great environment where I have the support to develop my knowledge in my field but also have the opportunity to take on new challenges and expand my skills in areas not possible with other companies.

    Very poor.
    The good thingsNot much. There was no room for development and growth.
    The challengesDealing with the ridiculous online shift calendar. It was impossible to navigate. I was also let go with no notification and no contact from the people who should have let me know. Management was very poor and cliquey.

    All challenges put in front of me , I stand up and rise, to the occasion .

    I only stayed this long because I was to lazy to leave.
    The good thingsI made great friendships with some of the regular customers. Easy to get time off
    The challengesBad pay Hours changed from 5-30 hours at owners whim Not given opportunities to learn new skills eg: making coffee (regardless of how slow it is) Boss chose favorites clearly

    The challengesA lot of staff members get lazy and leave it up too others to do it all. Staff members can also get really catty at times, start unnecessary drama and gossip instead of work

    The good thingsnothing really, there is no good things at this place, needs a serious health and safety occupant to come and search the place it is a mess. so unprofessional. im stuck because i dont have a another job.

    Degani is a wonderful cafe with opportunities to develop both personal and professional skills.
    The good thingsIs that you are working with a wonderful team and franchise, with lots of lovely regular customers.
    The challengesChallenges would be trying to get regular shifts during the quiet periods of the cafe, but besides that there very few.

    gained a great deal of experience that i will take on through other jobs and have made some memorable moments at degani's that I will always carry with me.
    The good thingsyou develop a good healthy relationship with your co workers and it makes working a much more enjoyable experience
    The challengesworking in a cafe can be quite taxing on the body and mind, it can become quite stressful due to business, and from doing all different types of jobs your body can become quite tired

    Working at Degani was a great experience, I'd defenatly do it again.
    The good thingsWorking at Degani bakery cafe opened my world to hospitality and opportunity, I learned from the best, that have been in the industry for years. You never stop learning new things and it becomes so fun that you don't even feel like you're working!
    The challengesWorking at Degani was a very demanding job, as in there was probably absolutely no work/life balance, because my life was Degani! The pay was also a struggle, earning $14 for 3 and a half years straight, staff turnover at times was ridiculous and if the bosses wernt happy you had no chance.
