Employees at Det Norske Veritas Group appreciate the company's professionalism and ethics, with a commitment to ensuring work is done correctly without compromises. The training and learning opportunities available throughout the year are valued, as are the chances to work overseas at the global company. Reviewers also praised the diversity of staff and the senior management team.

Except for being advised at Annual Review that my contract would be extended for following year, then subsequently reversed, my experience with DNV GL was very positive.
The good thingsDNV GL is the most professional and professionally ethical company that I have ever worked for. They don't make compromises, a job is either 100% right, or it is wrong. This often led to difficulties from clients with acceptance of Reports!
The challengesRigid work practices and methods governing most activities. Need to meet billable hours targets in a post-start-up O&G environment.
