Greatest place that I have worked in
The good thingsMy boss here is the best that I have ever had. My team is great, always helping each other and it feels like family. This is the best warehouse that I have worked in. There's free lunch and you don't have to worry about parking. The facilities like the lunch room is so nice and tidy. The whole warehouse is great. This is the best place I have worked in.
The challengesMy shift is 9-5 so it is a bit challenging going to and from work because of the peak hour

Used to have so much potential
The good thingsThe people I worked with minus the managers.
The challengesThey promote family friendly, inclusivity & flexible. I have failed to see how they are any of these. New mums (and dads) come back after parental leave to be forced into full time work without the opportunity for part time. The entire office has an us vs them situation and ZERO flexibility.

    Company is going backwards
The good thingsFree Lunch Co-workers are nice
The challengesManagement is archaic. All been there for 20 years & have no innovative ideas Workload is ridiculous, Staff turn over has been bad and managers don’t seems to care NOT FLEXIBLE in the slightest Don’t listen to what is said in the interviews. Remote office & going back to 5 days in office

Dicker Data is not a people-centric company and should be avoided
The good thingsReally hard to find a good thing about working with Dicker Data except the team I was working with (excluding management)
The challengesMiddle management are so incompetent it's hard to focus on your work when they're asking what you've been doing every day. Work-life balance is nonexistence they wanted me to travel 6 hours round trip 4 days a week and expect me to work at the same high standards.

    Good company to work for
The good thingsFree lunch, Team building activities, christmas parties, diversity in the workplace, i enjoy working with people from all walks of life and backgrounds, management is approachable, good life / work balance, flexible hours. Free parking. No uniform. Smart casual office. You are encouraged to find new ways of doing things. Excel training. You can work from home. Commission and incentives for working back or doing extra work.
The challengesProcesses and systems are a bit outdated compared to what they could be. Some people are hired because they’re related to someone rather than based on experience. Management spends too much time out of the office which means they’re out of touch with the every day struggle for the little people. Things don’t get fixed until they’re fully broken. System is very reactive rather than proactive. People that came from the old Dicker data company and people from Express Data are stuck in their ways. A lot of people are scared of change.

started out really well, ended really bad.
The good thingsfree lunch, met some great friends initially, lost some in the end.
The challengesthere's no such thing as a free lunch. Staff are classed as cattle. Too much middle management. No support for staff.

    A series of unfortunate days.
The good thingsLots of fresh air in Kurnell, and the ability to save money due to being located in an area of no shops or services.
The challengesA culture of no communication, little or no regard for Govt regulations or staff morale, cronyism on a massive level and an absent CEO who when they do surface is only to talk about future redundancies to the media.
