Avoid if you dont like micro management or unprofessional work places
The good thingsNot a lot, the maintenance team were good to work with and some of the empoyees and supervisors
The challengesLess micro managing and interference from senior management and deferring to less qualified and knowldgeable people to advise on the role. Better pay, remove toxic personel and incompetent and toxic middle management

The good thingsHas a great culture, you really feel that the management truly care. There are great gifts of appreciation and other benefits and perks along the way to make sure you know you are valued. Management trust you to get your job done which is a nice feeling to not be micromanaged. Best workplace ever!!
The challengesThere isn’t a lot not to love about Digga.

I enjoyed my time at Digga, where creativity and teamwork thrives.
The good thingsThis company feels like a family, everyone is happy to be there, and the work is very insteresting. Management was supportive, encouraging professional growth and teamwork. I appreciated the focus on Australian made quality and efficiency, which truly highlighted the impact of Digga's work. If you’re looking for a place that values its employees and promotes a culture of continuous improvement, then Digga is definitely a great place.
The challengesThe day-to-day differences in work can be a juggling act and it can take time to learn the systems in place.

Truly valued as one of the team.
The good thingsThe management team and my colleagues have gone above and beyond to help with my onboarding and the training in my new role. I am made to feel very much one of the team. It has been a great experience and any questions I have had during the settling in period have been answered with care and respect
The challengesThere have been no unexpected challenges in the new role. During the interview process the parameters of the role were well defined.

All the time and resources you need for developing.
The good thingsAmazing place to work. The company gives you all the resources you need to perform your job well and you don't feel pressured to complete your tasks (as long as you don't slack around). Modern facilities and all the support you need. You have enough time to develop new skills to do your job more efficiently.
The challengesBecause it is a fairly sized organisation you might get a bit overwhelmed with several layers of approvals and heaps of documentation. It's not a startup vibe, if you know what I mean.

    A great place to work
The good thingsDigga stays current with modern technology including software, machinery, office & office equipment. They manage to create a connected staff environment through multiple yearly parties & lunches.
The challengesDigga is a growing company that can sometimes have "growing pains" that affect workflow. However, management are always keen to improve and create procedures to solve this.

A great environment and proud family company.
The good thingsEvery day at Digga I get to enjoy working in a beautifullly comfortable and safe facility. Through continuous Performance Development Reviews each year I have been able to adjust my role within the company to be diverse so that I am never bored and am always learning. The days fly by and I enjoy both the work itself, the company as a whole and the interactions with external parties and my colleagues.
The challengesDue to the ebbs and flows in requirement within the Earthmoving industry itself I found I could get a little bored during the 'quiet season' but with the assistance of management I have been able to assist other teams to keep myself busy.

Digga - A great Aussie company that you can be proud to work for.
The good thingsDigga is a great family owned Australian company that still manufactures a great product in Australia. It is this reason I love coming to work everyday knowing we are part of something special, I started with Digga at the bottom and I have worked my way through many roles and been given great opportunities. I have found Digga likes to promote from within and will give you the help and tools to succeed. Highly Recommended
The challengesNo company is perfect you can't please everyone. Digga does however get most things right and that is why I continue to work for the company .

Great place to work, fitness sessions are amazing!
The good thingsFantastic office, stand up desks (surprisingly tall enough for me), barista coffee machine and Company-paid fitness sessions are great! We have a very close team which makes coming to work actually enjoyable. Plus there are a lot of opportunities to be involved in a wide range of projects well outside the scope of your normal role to further your career development - more than any 'normal' company.
The challengesAll the usual workplace challenges and difficult personalities that need to be managed - but you get that everywhere!

Innovative medium sized company where your workmates are your family.
The good thingsDigga helped me open my eyes to what I'm capable of. They allowed me creative freedom to diversify my role within the company and I was able to rediscover my creative passion for video editing. The family feel of your co workers are a huge plus, everyone has their quirks and you just get a long. They really motivate me to achieve my best every day. Digga really cares for employee morale, they host after work fitness sessions twice a week, and frequent staff BBQs. The flexibility of my hours i.e starting earlier to finish earlier really allows me to handle my work/life balance to a T.
The challengesI was a bit slow to start out at Digga as there wasn't much training available to me but if you keep your head up and just pester with questions you do get through it! Sometimes tasks can be a bit vague and confusing but that does go with my statement above, if you're confused, just ask!
