Challenging yet rewarding place to work
The good thingsThe dynamic and fast-paced working environment gives endless opportunities to gain new experiences and develop your skills/career. In my role I am trusted to do my job without micromanagement. I have flexibility with my working hours and am able to manage my work/life balance well. My Managers listen to me and I feel valued in my team. I am really enjoying my time with the business.
The challengesSimilar to most organisations, there are always obstacles and budgets and some challenging individuals, but personally I find it rewarding to overcome these challenges and continue to build on my experience.

Good place to work with attractive office space. People are friendly and helpful. If your looking to work for interesting defence projects then this is the one.
The good thingsInteresting projects. Diverse culture. Friendly environment Work life balance.
The challengesGood means of public transport, however its not as frequent as in the CBD. Projects require employees to be available onsite for various reasons, therefore company rules are a bit tight on work from home options. (especially for teams that are involved in hands on work with the systems)

Very positive, challenging work place which contributes to Australia's defence and saving lives
The good thingsExcellent work environment. Fun and interesting work, and best team of people one could hope for. Management is very understanding to individual needs and family requirements. Approachable managers with can do attitude. Mobility within the company is promoted so you are not stuck if you need a change, just have to say it.
The challengesChallenging work. Don't expect a day at the beach. Currently cramped office, but we are moving to a new and improved facility shortly.

Work with some great people, work for some poor ones.
The good thingsGreat team work, from the one on one relationships.
The challengesThe constant changing of the 'Goal posts' You need to be in the 'in crowd' in order to progress, or blindly say yes. Deceptive Management practices.

Avoid Elbit Systems - plenty of opportunities elsewhere
The good thingsDiverse workforce. Friendly people at working level.
The challengesAppalling management culture and practices reflected in high employee turnover and no management action to address. Large company vindictive politics in a very small company.

The challengesThe company requires flexibility. If rigidity and long-term forecasting are desirable to you, this may be a challenge.

Fast and crazy at times but what a ride! Love working here.
The good thingsThe people in Brisbane. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Also I have a fantastic leader who leads by inspiring and praising, a rare combination in the places I have worked for the past 15 years. Flexibility in work hours is also great as long as our customers are taken care of. On-boarding at the company was a breeze.
The challengesWorking for a overseas parent company who don't seem to understand that they have allow their local management to lead rather than trying to run an Australian company like an Israeli one. If they left the company alone their profits would still come but that's what you do have to accept working for an overseas entity.
