    One bad apple can ruin the whole bunch.
    The good thingsI made some lifelong friends. Dealing with farmers. Learning about crops.
    The challengesNo lunchbreaks, and made to feel bad if you took one! Alot of "hush" around the way things were done, especially around stocktake. Being deliberalty excluded on how to do tasks. Mass exodus of good staff leaving due to sales/merch management. Not fun.

    I hope others have a better experience than I did with Elders.
    The good thingsI had the opportunity to work with a few kind and genuine people who had very similar interest me in the agricultural industry.
    The challengesThe company provides minimal training for incoming staff. Upper levels of management do not adequate support staff who have had had extremely negative experiences within their workplace.

    The good thingsSo many things I have loved about working for Elders. The company culture is supportive and genuinely focused on inclusion and equality. I have enjoyed the development opportunities that have been on offer and I love that I have a voice that will be heard and valued at all levels of management. Also hard work is recognised and rewarded.

    wouldn't recommend to anyone
    The good thingsdecent pay and co-workers and being about to get out of the office every now and then
    The challengesbasically no support in learning the systems and when I asked for help I was told I should already know what to do, there was no help for different learning styles and I was made to feel like an useless nearly every day due to this. I was actually not doing anything in my job description as a sales rep but was basically acting as the receptionist. no feedback was given over how I could improve.

    Overall a very good place to work and a good company culture. However if you are looking for challenges and career progression Elders is not the place.

    A generally solid company who gets let down by management on a branch level.
    The good thingsVast network containing some very skilled and knowledgeable people. Work culture is fairly laidback. Ususlly offers flexibility for which goals you wish to pursue.
    The challengesBranch management can be lacking. Sometimes major knowledge gaps within the business will not be filled. Practices can be inconsistent between branches.
