    Call Centre
    Mar 2026
Melbourne VIC 30005 to 6 years in the role, former employee
Worst company I have ever worked for.
The good thingsSome of the call centre staff and some of the drivers really care about helping people.
The challengesThere is NO support from management. They could not care less about their staff, and especially about the customers. Their prices are a rip off, double dipping goes on all the time, and the communication to the customer is the worst I have EVER seen at any organisation. Middle and senior management do not listen, they only care about money ... that's it. You are expendable. So many people leave, and the mental stress load is high because customers can't get vital gas - cook or wash - and management doesn't care that staff get constantly sworn and yelled at. DO NOT WORK HERE.

Think long and hard before working for this mob
The good thingsnothing good about this Company
The challengesNo management support, no loyalty or appreciation for employees that work hard to produce the Company earnings and profits. pay well below industry standard, No empathy or concern for the financial ramifications for older employees during redundancy decisions. Looking for a job - avoid this mob like the plague you would better off working for the Salvation Army they would value you and care more.

Not a t all what I thought it would be, maybe a different company doing the same roll may have been different.
The good thingsThe pay rate although it was a casual position there was no chance of permanacy
The challengesEvery thing from basically havjng to go against company policies. was suppost to be high safety but that was even a fail. happy to have a go at you if they thought that you were wearing the wrong gloves but happy to let you hang off the side of a truck.

This job can be rewarding if you work with the right colleagues but when left alone with no support, it can be stressful and thankless with long hours trying to keep up with workloads and no support when you need to take annual leave or any other leave.
    The good thingsImmediate work colleagues
The challengesLack of support from upper management Profit over actual customer service Staffing issues primarily due to upper management cutting staff numbers on the ground so 1 person expected to do work of 3 Wage is quite low in comparison to skill level.

2 years as a driver and I don't think I ever spoke to anyone who work for them that has a positive experience. Very negative experience, don't do it to yourself.
The good thingsTeam, out on the road.
The challengesRelaxed atmosphere towards Safety, Management and Office Staff have zero idea what happens day in day out. Refuse to purchase the most basic of PPE and equipment, Nothing improves, Management never take steps to fix the issue that drives have.

Alot of good people work for the company, in regards to a A.M role, the salary is lower than what would be offered by other companies.
The good thingsthe autonomy of the A.M role, tools for trade, customer interfacing
The challengeslimited work/life balance in the Account Managers / CNBT role - due to upper management, competitive pressures. limited opportunities of career progression, salary lower than the average A.M role in particular with the amount of hours required to meet company objectives
