    Poor management, unequal expectations, and a cliquey culture - a deeply unprofessional place to work

    The challengesManagement was inconsistent and quick to label staff as ‘disengaged’ for minor comments. The workplace culture was cliquey, with certain employees spending much of the day chatting while expectations differed for others. Not a supportive environment.

    The challengesIt is an incredibly busy practice, and aspects of the job require a lot of autonomy. Specialists have high standards (as they should) and functions very differently than General dental practices. That pace & standard can be very challenging for some.

    The good thingsI have really enjoyed having a weekly RDO. I have been given the opportunity to learn and upskill in different areas of the practice which allows me the confidence to step into steri/ assisting to help my team out
