Company mainly concentrating on Esri product to sell or related service
The good thingsWork life balance Good initial salary Learning opportunity with Esri products
The challengesEsri product selling company, not much care to technical person. Poor project management and kpi management. No further career option if you want to go for technical only.

    Tough, however enjoyable.
The good thingsA well organised and run business.
The challengesPerhaps a little old fashioned in attitudes to working from home. Strict and immovable business practices which inhibit speed of getting things done (Finance).

Great technologies, good people - amazing products and services.
The good thingsGreat people, unique products & services which really are amazing to work with. Base salary is average but if you are a performing full time permanent employee you are eligible to a very rewarding profit share. HR has also done a lot on the overall value package which is much better and it looks like there's more coming.
The challengesThe HQ in Brisbane is dated and needs a new layout.

    Undervalued employees
The good thingsGreat individual people, lots of professional development opportunities (depending on your role)
The challengesEmployees are undervalued and grads border on being taken advantage of. Poor pay across the board. All the best people leave for better jobs with better salaries.

Excellent company to work for if you are passionate about GIS
The good thingsWorking for Esri Australia gives you access to the latest and greatest of Esri's technology. There's always someone within the company who can provide technical advice when you need an answer.
The challengesThe salaries at Esri Australia are not high, and it is difficult to get promoted. When I was there for three years, very few people were promoted.

The challenges is what keeps me coming back never a dull moment!
The good thingsI have been with the company for 9 years now so that in itself says alot about working for Esri Australia. I work with great bunch of people who treat you well, approachable who gives you lots of support and respect.
The challengesThere are definitely lots of challenges - we change things for a better working environment, to innovate and keep up with the current technologies.
