    Started off positive, unfortunately turned negative.
    The good thingsProviding beauty treatments and services
    The challengesI experienced judgement and mistreatment as a newly employed beauty therapist. The work place was unprofessional, I witnessed unsanitary procedures of cleaning and wearing gloves. I witnessed judgement towards customers and myself. Made me feel nervous and uncomfortable in the work place.

    The good thingsfull training will be provided
    The challengesDuring interview, I was told that they’d fully train me for the job however, manager went on holiday after a few shifts. I was told to do grocery shopping several times.(Buy cat food ) Absolutely no commitment to train you for the job! Not given a chance to progress.

    The good thingsNothing to say here, good outweighs the bad.
    The challenges0 chances to progress within this company, you are a spec of dust to these guys. They do not value their loyal employees. There is no full time roles even though you work the full time hours meaning no leave or benefits. Avoid at all costs

    The challengesClients always given to others when your new, management was tough/ not friendly. Was supposed to be part time, turned into never getting shifts and never hearing from them again.

    Would highly recommend to anyone working in the beauty industry to really be ahead of the rest
    The good thingsAmazing place to work! I started off fresh out of beauty school and essential beauty trained me 1 on 1 to become very skilled and knowledgeable. I had the opportunity to become trained in IPL and body piercings, which allowed me to grow in my career. My co workers are like family to me and we bounce off eachother and team work is really important. The owner of my particular franchise is amazing and always goes that extra mile to make sure there are no problems and her staff are happy.
    The challengesThe only challenges I had was that I worked in a busy fast paced salon so sometimes giving me that 1 on 1 training was difficult to do.

    The good thingsexpanded my knowledge on beauty in all areas, the staff friendly and helpful towards me and all customers, I really enjoy my job here.
    The challengesrude customers are always going to be a challenge in any retail environment, but apart from that I don't really have any challenges with this job.

    I have no intention of ever leaving the company, that should explain how great it is.
    The good thingsI've been with the company for years and really enjoy the friendly environment, I have had great on going training from Head Office and some killer bonuses.

    My favourite job so far!
    The good thingsMy experience at the Rundle Mall store has been great. I've grown a lot as a Beauty Therapist and my skills have improved immensely. I've also been lucky enough to learn Body Piercing during my time here over the last 3.5 years. I also work with great staff.

    definalty a store im proud to work for and be apart of.
    The good thingsI love it here, their is always the opportunity to upgrade and learn new skills they never hold you back from achieving your goals, the support from both staff and management is excellent :)
    The challengessince working here from day one of opening it was very hard as we had minimal staff and no management in store, so it was a bit of chaos. but not scince we have been franchised it become a well managed and easy to work environment with ongoing support.
