    The good thingsGreat team and bunch of people to work with, they look after their staff and appreciate efforts. Always providing training/help and support when needed which made it easier for me.

    Proactive environment with a Supportive Team
    The good thingsVery supportive team environment with solid genuine people who encourage trying and learning new things. We have a lot of freedom to create and implement new ideas to improve processes. Always striving to take on feedback from customers and the team to make things better. Each day is different so there is plenty of variety day-to-day which keeps things interesting.
    The challengesIn a fast-paced environment, you have to learn to be flexible and adapt. This means there’s plenty of opportunity to learn and hone your skills which is actually a good thing I think. If you prefer a slow, mundane job where you do the same thing every day, this is probably not for you. More of a go getter workplace :)

    The only company that i know of, in my 20 years of maintenance plumbing experience, that aims to help the individual grow first, so that the company can follow, rather than the other way around.

    The challenges- Learning about yourself and taking extreme ownership for your actions - Taking responsibility for results and self managing work from start to finish - Challenging your expectations on what "a plumber is, or could be" - Eliminating ego driven culture of past employers, while helping to drive a supportive and friendly atmosphere is inclusive of all - Learning new technical specialist tools and skills that require new thought processes and considered actions

    The good thingsThe most stand out thing with FIRP I find is the positive team culture that is prioritised very high with everyone who is apart of the team treated with respect.

    The challengesAs humans it can sometimes be challenging to look inward and focus on bettering ourselves. Making positive changes for ourselves, breaking free from past bad experiences etc. However, with personal development comes an increase in skills and fulfilment of goals which is highly encouraged & supported at Fix-It Right Plumbing and for that I am beyond grateful.
